BHU FMS 2023-25: Application Form (Started), Eligibility Criteria

BHU FMS 2023 Online application submission will be alive from 10:00 AM onwards on 1st October 2022 to 4th January 2023 (Midnight). The Admission is based on CAT 2022 percentile. Prior to filing the application form, candidates will have to check their eligibility criteria. Admission to MBA and MBA IB programs is an online process. Candidates are required to have a valid email id and mobile no. for registration, preferably the same they have used for CAT 2022 registration purpose. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for further selection rounds i.e. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round. IM BHU offers a two-year postgraduate programme in Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Business Administration in International Business (MBA-IB). BHU MBA / MBA-IB Admission 2023 Schedule

Candidates Need to appear for BHU PET for which the registration will start soon. Candidates need to separately apply to the Institute for which important Dates are –

BHU FMS 2023 Application Form

Online application submission has been started The steps to fill the application form for Banaras Hindu University FMS is given below:

• Admission to BHU for MBA and MBA-IB is an online process.
• For registration, Candidates need to have a valid phone no. and e-mail ID, ideally the one they have used for CAT registration.
• Candidates need to apply through the University Admission Portal online (bhuonline.in).

Application Fees:

For General category, the Application fee is Rs 2000/-; and for SC/ST the Application fee is Rs 1000/- which is payable online.

BHU FMS 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The admission criteria for Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University or Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University is given below:

• Candidates must have completed their Bachelors are eligible to apply.
• Candidates must have a Degree in Medicine, Education, Technology, Agriculture or a Post Graduate Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline from an Institution Recognised by AIU/AICTE are eligible to apply.
• For SC/ST candidates minimum 45% marks are required.

Reservation:

• There will be reservation for – OBC 27% ; SC 15 % ; ST 7.5 %
• 15% of the intake are Paid Seats
• 15% of the intake is for Foreign Nationals

BHU FMS 2023 Admission Process

• Interested candidates for admission in MBA and MBA-IB programmes for the session 2020-2023 are needed to appear in CAT 2022
• Candidates also need to separately apply to the Institute for admission.
• CAT score is used by the Institute for short-listing candidates for the MBA and MBA-IB programmes.

Admissions to MBA and MBA (IB) Programmes

Admission to PGDBA Programme

Eligibility	Candidates Must have Graduate Degree from a recognized Indian University or an Equivalent degree from Foreign University. The candidate must have at least three years experience either (a) at a supervisory level in a business organization or is running own business, OR (b) in-service BHU Teachers / Officers.
Admission to PGDBA is made based on	The combined merit of Group Discussion and Interview of eligible candidates to be conducted at FMS, BHU.
Reservations	27% OBC; 15 % SC; 7.5 % ST; 3% PC – Horizontal reservation

BHU FMS 2023 Counselling

According to the candidate’s combined merit in CAT 2022, Academic Performance, Group Discussion, and Interview, he will be called for counselling for provisional admission. Candidates won’t be considered for admission by a bare appearance in the CAT, Group Discussion and Interview as a candidate also needs to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Before filling the application form for both CAT and BHU, students are advised to make themselves clear about their eligibility.

In case more than one candidate scores equal rank, then the following rules by the University will be applicable:

• Candidate with higher marks in the qualifying examination will be given preference.
• If the marks in the qualifying exam are also equal then the candidate who is born first i.e. elder in age will be given preference.

Candidates called for counselling for provisional admission need to carry all the original documents like Marksheets, Certificates, Migration, Transfer certificate, Caste certificate. If the candidate is offered provisional admission then all his/her original documents will be detained by the Institute which will be returned after the admission process is fully completed.

BHU FMS 2023 Group Discussion & Personal Interview

Those candidates who are shortlisted based on their total percentile score in CAT 2022 need to appear for group discussion and interview at the Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

Admission to these programmes will be done based on the combined merit of the candidate in CAT, Academic records, Group discussion, and Interview. Weight of the following are as follows-

• CAT – 50%
• Academic Record – 20%
• Group Discussion – 15%
• Interview – 15%

Document Required: Following Documents need to be with the candidate at the time of Group Discussion and Interview, or else the candidate won’t be allowed to appear for GD/PI:

• Score Card of CAT 2022
• GD/PI Call letter
• Self-attested copies of 10^th, 12^th, up to the latest available mark sheet.
• A banker’s cheque / crossed bank draft/pay order of Rs 2000/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Banaras Hindu University payable at Varanasi.

Short-listed candidate’s non-appearance in GD/PI at the scheduled date and time will disqualify them for admission to the program.
