TGCET 2023 Result

Telangana Common Entrance Test 2023 Result is the final score of the selected candidates. One can check the result in an online mode by visiting the official site or by visiting the school notice board.

Steps To Download The TGCET Result 

  • Visit the official site of TGCET 
  • A home page will appear on the screen 
  • Click on the result link 
  • Enter the details required such as application no. and password. 
  • Download the result and take the print of it for future reference.

TGCET 2023 Application Form

Appearing candidates have to apply for the Telangana Common Entrance Test in an online mode. Candidates have to check the official site of TGCET Ii.e tgcet.cgg.gov.in. In order to apply for the TGCET, candidates have to fulfill the eligibility requirement. The process of application is carried out by registration, form filling, uploading scanned documents, and payment of the application fee.  Check the process here:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of TGCET i.e tgcet.cgg.gov.in.
  • Click on the “ TGCET Application Form‘ Link 
  • Enter the required details such as the Candidate’s Name, age, etc.
  • After the registration, a journal no. is generated.
  • Enter the journal no. in the login space and complete the application process. 

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

  • Candidates are advised to fill the application form with all the correct details. . They need to enter the personal, communication, and educational details in the correct manner. 

Step 3: Upload The Scanned Images

  • Candidates/Parents are advised to upload the scanned images of the photograph, signature, and required documents. All the scanned images must be in the prescribed format and size.  

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

  • One can pay the application fee of Rs 50/- in an online mode, Application is incomplete without the fee. The application fee is not refundable.

Documents Required To Fill The TGCET Application Form

In order to fill the form, candidates must have the following things:

  • Identification such as Aadhaar Number/UID or Aadhaar EID Receipt
  • Caste Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate (Belong to Telangana)
  • Mark sheet of previous class
  • PWD certificates. (for Persons with Physical Disability)
  • BPL Certificate (for Below Poverty Line candidates)
  • Income Certificate 

TGCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Telangana Common Entrance Test must fulfill the eligibility requirement in order to fill the form. Not all can participate in the application process. Only those who satisfied the eligibility criteria can apply for the school. Check the eligibility here.

Domicile

  • Candidates must be a citizen of Telangana  and they must have the domicile of the state of Telangana

Educational Qualifications

  • Students who are studying in class 4th can apply for the Telangana Common Entrance Test 
  • Candidates must be from any government school or any other recognized school situated in Telangana

Income Criteria

  • The annual family income of a candidate’s parents must be less than 1,50,000 per annum from all sources. (For Rural Areas) and Rs 2,00,000 per annum (For Urban Areas)

Age Requirement

  • The applicants should be above the age of 9 years at the time of admission as born on 1st September 2023.
  • Candidates who are below the age of 11 years as of 31st August 2023 are only eligible to apply if they belong to the general
  • Reserved category applicants should be below the age of 13 years at the time of admission.

TGCET 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates must be familiar with the marking pattern, the total no. of questions asked in the exam, exam duration, etc. 

  • The exam will take place in an offline mode (OMR-based).
  • There will be multiple types of questions.
  • The exam duration is 2 hours.
  • The total marks are 100 marks
  • One mark will be allotted to each correct answer.
  • The total number of questions will be 100.
  • The medium of the exam will be English/ Telugu/ Urdu
  • Questions will be asked from the subjects English, Mathematics, and Environment Science, and Telugu  of Class IV standard
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

TGCET 2023 Admit  Card

The authority releases the TGCET Admit Card in an online mode at the official site of the gurukul. Candidates need to enter the login details in order to view the admit card. Candidates have to mandatory carry the admit card on the day of the examination. Thus the admit card acts as an identity of the candidates to take the exam. Check all the details mentioned in the admit card such as the Name of the candidate, exam date, exam venue, exam timing, etc are correctly mentioned or not. If there is any printing mistake then parents/candidates have to contact the concerned authority immediately.

Things To Keep In Mind Before Visiting The Exam Centre

  • Reach the exam centre 30 min before the commencement of the examination
  • No student will be entertain once the examination hall gate is closed. 
  • Must carry the admit card and the other things required as mentioned in the admit card guidelines. 
  • No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card.
