What is TTWR COE CET?

Contains

TTWR COE CET stands for Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Centre of Excellence Common Entrance Test. It is an entrance examination conducted by the Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS) for the purpose of school admissions. Specifically, this test is designed for admission to the Center of Excellence (COE) Colleges under TTWREIS for the 1st year of Intermediate education.

The TTWREIS aims to provide comprehensive and focused coaching for prestigious national institutions like IIT and NEET through its 14 Centers of Excellence (COEs). These COEs offer target-oriented coaching along with additional academic support to help students excel in their studies and achieve their goals.

TTWREIS Entrance Test 2023 Application Form

Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS) releases the application form for the entrance test in an online mode at the official site. Candidates have to check their eligibility before applying for the exam. The successful completion of the application form includes registration, form filling, scanned document uploading, and payment of the application fee.  Look into the process here

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of   TTWREIS i.e www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in
  • Click on the “  TTWREIS Entrance Test for COE/SOE/IIT  Admission  2023 Application Form”
  • Do the registration by entering the details such as the candidate’s name, parent’s name, gender, etc. 
  • Enter the valid mobile no. and email id.  
  • Once the registration is done, a login id will be generated.
  • Use the login id to complete the process. 

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

  • Login into the account and completes the application form. Enter the details required in the field such as personal. educational, communication information in the form. 

Step 3: Upload The Scanned Images

Photograph Specification 

  • Passport size Photograph with white background   in JPG or JPEG format (size: 100 kb)
  • Must have original passport-size photographs as uploaded in the form. (Requirement during verification process). 

Signature Specification 

  • Candidates must have the scanned image of the signature in the white background in JPG or JPEG format.(size: 50 kb)
  • Must have the running handwriting

Step 4: Payment of the application fee

  • One can pay the application fee in an online mode through Debit/Credit Card/Net-banking/UPI
  • Rs.100/-  is the application fee. 

TTWREIS Entrance Test 2023 Eligibility Criteria

All the ST students (Boys & Girls) of Telangana who are appearing for SSC March 2023 Public Examinations from T.W Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools, and other Govt. Recognized schools are eligible for admissions. 

  • Admissions for IIT Study Centre, Rajendranagar, TTWR COE (Girls), Warangal, SOE/COEs will be given on the basis of merit through Screening Tests at two levels conducted by TS Gurukulam.
  • They should also pass SSC in 1st attempt in March-2023 and secure at least B2 grade (7 points) in aggregate and also secure at least B2 grade in English in SSC Public Examinations 2021
  • Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test (the question paper will be in bilingual) Telugu and English.
  • Parental Income for the year 2020-2021 financial year should not exceed Rupees Two Lakh per annum for urban and 1.5 lakh for rural or as per the Government guidelines at the time of admissions.
  • Selected candidates have to produce necessary certificates like Caste, Income, Aadhar Card., Marks Memo, Study, T.C., Medical fitness certificate from not less than an assistant civil surgeon, (06) Passport size photos at the time of admission.

TTWREIS Entrance Test  Admission  Exam Pattern 

Class the COE/SOE/IIT Entrance Test Pattern 

  • The exam duration is 3 hr (10:30 AM to 1:30 PM)
  • There will be MCQ types questions (Objective type) 
  • The exam is of 160 marks in total. 
  • There is the provision of the negative marking. 1/4th is a negative marking for the incorrect answer. 
  • The exam paper languages will be English and Telugu.
  • There will be 4 sets of question papers. I.e SET-A, SET-B, SET-C, SET-D.

Important Points 

  • The Screening Test will be conducted at two levels, 1st Screening test will be the objective type and 2nd Screening test will be the descriptive type with the following subjects for MPC and Bi.P.C. Groups separately.
  • Only the meritorious students from the 1st screening test at the rate of 1:4 may be permitted to attend the 2nd level screening test.
  • The list of eligible candidates for 2nd screening test may be permitted to obtain/seen from the website of Gurukulam at 1:4ratio
  • The test may be based on the knowledge of subjects from class VIII to X classes in English/Mathematics/Biology/Physics and Chemistry
  • The entrance test question paper may be given in bilingual (i.e., in English and Telugu Media).
  • Applicants may be selected any language as a medium of writing for the Test.

The TTWREIS Entrance Test will be released in an online mode at the official site. Candidates have to login into the account and download the admit card and take the print of it. It is important for the candidates to carry the TTWREIS  admit card on the examination day. It is a very important document that acts as an identity of the person on the exam day.

TTWREIS Entrance Test 2023 Result

 TTWREIS results are the final score of the candidates that states whether the candidates have cleared the exam or not. The result will be released in an online mode at the official site. Candidates have to enter the application no., passwords, and security code in order to download the result. The print of the result is required at the time of admission.

TTWREIS School Reservation 

  1. Admissions will be reserved for STs of Telangana state only, as per GO in vogue.
  2. 3% of overall seats will be reserved to the Physically Handicapped children who can attend their work without anybody’s help based on the certificate issued by the Medical Board.
