Goa NMMS 2023 or Goa National- means-cum Merit Scholarship program is organized by the Central Government and conducted by the local educational authority. The objective of the NMMS Exam is to look for knowledgeable students in the economically weaker parts, at the end of Class VII and to assist them financially to undergo the best education. Under this scheme, 100,000 scholarships are awarded to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than Rs. 1,50,000/- per annum from all sources. Goa NMMS 2023 Application Form
The GOA NMMS application forms can be downloaded from the official site of the authority. The students also have the option to collect the NMMS Goa form from their respective schools. After collecting the application form, the candidates are required to fill in the form and attach all the documents required and submit the duly filled form with the application fee through the official gateway.

Goa NMMS 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Students who have completed the VII (7th) class and are in VIII (8th) class
- Parental income from all sources should be less than 1,50,000/- per annum
- The candidate must have 55% aggregate marks and 50% of backward classes in class 7th
- The students must get at least 40% in the scholarship examination in order to avail the scholarship
Benefits of the scheme
Under the scheme, 1 lakh scholarships are given to meritorious students whose parental income is less than Rs. 1,50,000/- per annum. The amount of the scholarship is Rs. 12000/- per annum at Rs. 1000 per month.
Goa NMMS 2023 Admit Card
The admit card for the Goa NMMS exam will be released offline along with the application form. The candidates are required to contact the school authorities of Goa as per the instructions. It is very important to download the Goa NMMS 2023 Admit Card before appearing for the exam. NO students will be allowed to appear in the entrance test without a valid hall ticket issued by the competent authority.

Goa NMMS 2023 Exam Pattern
Goa NMMS 2023 Exam shall be conducted in two sessions i.e. Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Ability Test. The duration of both papers will be 90 minutes each.

Cut-off for Goa NMMS 2023
The cut-off marks will be available on the official website after the examination results are out. The passing criteria for the NMMS exam are 40% marks in each paper. For the reserved category, the passing requirement is 32% marks in each paper.
Scholarship Award and Recognition
- Students who are selected by the boards on the basis of the written examination are awarded a monthly stipend as prescribed.
- The amount of the stipend is directly sent to the beneficiary’s bank account.
- The amount will start getting credited from class IX onwards
