JEE Main 2023 is a national-level entrance exam for engineering aspirants in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is one of the most popular and competitive exams in the country. The registration for JEE Main 2023 Session 2 is now open, and here's what you need to know.

JEE Main 2023 Session 2 registration information

To be eligible for JEE Main 2023 Session 2, candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core subjects. They must also have scored at least 75% marks in the qualifying exam, or be in the top 20 percentile in their respective boards. There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can apply for JEE Main 2023 Session 2 on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. They need to create an account, fill the form, upload relevant documents, and pay the application fee to complete the process. The registration window will close on March 12, 2023, at 9 pm, and the exam fee payment window will close at 11:50 pm.

Application Process

JEE Main 2023 Session 2 will consist of two papers - Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech courses, and Paper 2A for B.Arch courses. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode, and the duration of each paper will be three hours. Paper 1 will have three sections - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics - with 30 questions in each section. Paper 2A will have three parts - Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing - with a total of 77 questions.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Candidates can download their JEE Main 2023 Session 2 admit card from the official website using their login credentials. The admit card will contain details about the exam center, date, and time. Candidates can choose their preferred exam center while filling the application form. The exam will be held on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12, 2023, with reserved dates for Session 2 being April 13 and 15.

Admit Card and Exam Centers

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry their admit card, ID proof, and other necessary documents. They should reach the exam center at least one hour before the exam starts. Electronic devices, calculators, and any other prohibited items are not allowed inside the exam hall. Candidates should read the instructions carefully and manage their time wisely to complete the exam.

Exam Day Guidelines

The dates of Advance Intimation of Examination City, downloading of Admit Cards, and declaration of Result will be displayed on the JEE (Main) portal in due course. Candidates who qualify for the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 will be eligible for the counseling process. The counseling process will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), and candidates can choose their preferred college and course based on their ranks.
