The Andhra Pradesh Model School Entrance Exam (APMS) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Model Schools Society for admission into class 6 in the AP Model Schools.

The APMS 2024 will be conducted on February 11, 2024. The exam will be held in two shifts:
- Shift 1: 9:00 am to 11:30 am
- Shift 2: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
The APMS 2024 will be a pen-and-paper test. The exam will be conducted in 180 minutes for all the four subjects: Mathematics, Science, English, and Telugu.
The APMS 2024 is a qualifying exam. The candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for admission into class 6 in the AP Model Schools.
The application form for the APMS 2024 will be available online on the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Model Schools Society. The last date to apply for the APMS 2024 is January 15, 2024.
Eligibility criteria for the APMS 2024
The following are the eligibility criteria for the APMS 2024:
- The candidate must have passed the 5th standard from a recognized school.
- The candidate’s age must be between 10 and 12 years on or before August 1, 2024.

AP Model School Entrance Exam 2023 Application Form
One has to follow a certain process in order to apply for the AP Model School. Check the process below:
Step 1: Online Registration And Payment Of The Application Fee
- Visit the official website of APMS i.e apms.apcfss.in
- Click on the “Online Payment Link” as per the classes opted for
- Fill the details such as Candidate‟s Name/ Mother‟s Name/ Father‟s Name etc and make the payment as per the category.
For Class 6
- For General/BC Category: Rs. 100/-
- For SC/ST Category: Rs. 50/-
For Intermediate 1st Year
- General/ OC/BC: Rs 150
- SC/ST/PHC: Rs 100
- Once the registration will be done and the Journal Number will be generated .
- Use the login id to access the account and complete the process.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form
Login to the account and complete the application process. Enter the details such as educational, personal and communication details. Candidates have to enter the details very carefully. Make sure that all the documents are ready before applying for the AP Model School.
Step 3: Upload The Scanned Image
All the required documents such as scanned images og photograph etc must be uploaded in the correct format and size. If the scanned images are not correct then it won’t be uploaded and hence it causes the rejection of the application form.
Step 4: Confirmation & Download The Application Form
After the successful entry of the details, a declaration is submitted. Once this process is complete, the candidates are asked to download the AP Model School filled application form for further reference.
AP Model School Entrance Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
