Bihar NEET Merit List 2023: Dates, Cut Off, Counselling

Bihar NEET 2023 Seat Allotment for the first round has been released on 23 July 2023. Once it will be accomplished successfully the board releases the NEET Result. Here are the important updates for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2023:

1. Free Exit Option: The last date for candidates to exercise the free exit option for Round 1 of Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2023 is today, September 1. Candidates who wish to exit Round 1 can do so through the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
2. Eligibility for Free Exit: Candidates who have taken admission in Round 1 or opted for upgradation and have completed the document verification process at the reporting center are eligible to take the free exit option.
3. Choice Filling for Round 2: Candidates who exercise the free exit option will need to fill fresh choices for Round 2 of Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC). The choice-filling process for Round 2 will begin on September 4.
4. Automatic Exit: Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not complete the document verification process will be exited automatically.

NEET 2023 Result (announced)

• NEET UG 2023 MCC counselling for Bihar will be conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).
• The counselling process will take place on the official website of BCECEB at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
• The board will soon release the cutoff marks for UG courses as part of the counselling process.
• Seat allotment for Bihar MBBS admissions will be done based on the merit list for NEET UG 2023 in Bihar and the preferences selected by the candidates during the counselling process.

Bihar NEET Merit List 2023 Update

NEET 2023 Bihar counselling is done on the basis of the merit list which will be will be prepared by the state authorities. The candidates have to check that list to know their chances of getting the medical college of their choice. The candidates must know about the seats in the college. • The Bihar NEET Merit List 2023 has not been released yet.
• The BCECEB is expected to release the merit list in July-August 2023.
• The merit list will be based on the scores obtained in the NEET exam.
• It is noted that aspirants whose application forms will be submitted and accepted by the counselling authority will only be included in the Bihar MBBS merit list.
• The merit list will be released in PDF format on the official website of BCECEB. Candidates can check their qualifying status by finding their roll numbers using Ctrl+F.
• It is advised that applicants verify the details mentioned in the column of their roll number and take 3-4 printouts of the Bihar MBBS & BDS rank list.
• The merit list will be used for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical colleges in Bihar. The counselling process for Bihar NEET 2023 will be conducted online.

How to register for Bihar NEET 2023 Counselling?

As per the official instructions released by BCECEB, the candidates who have qualified NEET can apply for counselling by following the below-given steps:

• Step-1: Registration – Candidates can register for UGMAC online at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. At the homepage, they will have to click on ‘Online Application Portal of UGMAC-2023’ and click on the ‘Apply online’ button. They will be asked for e-mail and mobile numbers which will be used for all registration-related communication. Next, they have to click on ‘Activate your account’ button and enter the activation code. Then click on the ‘Submit’ button and proceed to Sign-in to their accounts.
• Step-2: Provide Personal Information – After signing in they will be required to enter their personal information for the registration process and proceed to click on the ‘Save & Continue’ button.
• Step-3: Uploading documents – Thereafter, the candidate would be required to upload the scanned copy of their passport size photograph as well as signature. Then they will have to, click on the ‘Save & Continue’ button to proceed to the next step.
• Step-4: Entering Educational Information – The candidates would be required to enter their educational information and click on the ‘Save & Continue’ button to proceed to the next step.
• Step-5: Final Preview – The next step would be to preview all the previously provided information in steps 2 to 4 before final submission. They will have an opportunity to edit the incorrect information by clicking on the ‘Back to Edit’ button. Once the provided information is confirmed to be correct, click on the ‘Confirm & Submit’ button to proceed to the payment of fees.
• Step-6: Payment of Counselling Fees – After previewing, the candidate must click the ‘Proceed to Payment’ button to complete the payment procedure. The counselling fees once paid will not be refunded in any case and can only be paid through the following medium:

• The candidates can pay the counselling fee via bank challan or online payment gateways.

• Step-7: Downloading Application form – After the successful payment, the candidate should download the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Can I get government medical college with 600 marks in NEET in Bihar?
