• The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been released the official CBSE 12th Class Timetable. The Final exam dates have been announced, and the practical exams schedule for winter-bound schools has been released.
• Dates for CBSE 12th Theory Exams 2024: The CBSE 12th theory exams will be held between February 15 and April 2, 2024. The detailed subject-wise CBSE 12th exam date sheet is released on 11 December 2023.
• Practical Exams Schedule for Winter-Bound Schools: The CBSE 12th practical exams for winter-bound schools have already started from November 14, 2023, and will continue till December 14, 2023. For all other CBSE-affiliated schools, the practical exams/project work/Internal assessment will be conducted from January 1, 2024.
• Exam Dates: The exams are scheduled to start on February 15, 2024, and run until April 2, 2024.
• Stakeholder Input: The CBSE has considered input and suggestions from various stakeholders, including students, parents, and educators, in finalizing these exam dates.
• Focus on MCQs: The board is making changes in examination and assessment practices to align with Competency Focused Education. In the CBSE Class 10 exams, 50% of the questions will be competency-based, which may include multiple-choice questions (MCQs), case-based questions, source-based integrated questions, or other formats. In the Class 12 exams, 40% of the questions will be competency-focused and may also include MCQs, case-based questions, source-based integrated questions, or other formats.

The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Date Sheet 2024 is released. The exam dates are from February 15 to April 2, 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts, morning and afternoon. The morning shift will start at 10:30 AM and end at 12:30 PM, while the afternoon shift will start at 2:30 PM and end at 4:30 PM.

Points to Remember for CBSE 12th Exam 2024

• Firstly, the duration of time for each paper has been indicated in the date sheet.
• Practical exams with private applicants (female and Patrachar Vidyalaya applicants appearing 1st time) will be conducted at the theory exam centers unless otherwise notified.
• Private applicants should contact the Principal of the school of their theory exam centers for the date and time of the practical exam before the theory examination is over. The practical examination should be completed before the Second week of April 2024.
• Also, the practical exam for regular applicants in all subjects will be held at every school for their applicants.
• Furthermore, the principal of the schools may fix up the date for holding a practical exam in various subjects in consultation with the Examiner concerned.
• Moreover, candidates are distributed in convenient batches according to the number of examinees and the capacity of the laboratory.
• Also, the Date and time for examination fixed in each batch be communicated to candidates concerned well in advance.

CBSE Exam Guidelines

The guidelines regarding the CBSE Class 12th Exam 2024 is given below.

• Answer books would be distributed to students before the examination between 10:00 AM and 10:15 AM.
• Students have to write their particulars on the answer book and these will be checked by the Assistant Superintendent.
• The appearing candidates can read the question paper from 10:15 am to 10:30 am (15 minutes). Practical examination in respect of private candidates (female and Patrachar Vidyalaya candidates appearing 1st time) will be held at the theory examination centres unless otherwise notified.
• Private candidates should contact the Principal of the school for their theory examination centres for the date and time of practical examination before the theory examination is over.
