Validity Period of CTET Certificate
- Validity Period: The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate is seven years from the date of declaration of its results for all categories.
- No Restriction: There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate.
- Improvement: Candidates who have qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
- Duplicate copy: A candidate can get a duplicate copy of Marks Sheets or Eligibility Certificate by paying the prescribed fee.

How to fill the CTET 2021 Application Form?
The procedure for filling the application form is given below.
Step 1: CTET 2021 Registration
- Visit the official website, ctet.nic.in
- Click on “Apply for CTET 2021”
- Enter all personal details in the form, as mentioned in the 10 level certificate.
- Choose any 3 exam centres, preferred language and paper option.
Step 2: Uploading Photograph and Signature
- Once done, upload the photograph in the prescribed format and in jpeg format.
- Upload the signature in jpeg format.
Step 3: Pay CTET 2021 Application Fee
- After the uploading of images, automatically redirected to the fee payment page
- Choose the payment option; whether online or through e-challan
- For online payment, select payment gateway (debit card/credit card/net banking)
- For offline payment, download the e-challan and deposit the fee in Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank.
Step 4: Print Confirmation Page

CTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

For Classes I – V: Primary Stage
The eligibility criteria for the primary stage is given below:
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Class 12th with minimum 45% marks and passed in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum 50% marks and passed in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum 50% marks and passed in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education Graduation and passed.
For Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
The eligibility criteria for the elementary stage is given below:
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Graduate with minimum 50% marks and passed in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with minimum 45% marks and passed in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
- Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with minimum 50% marks and passed in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Age Limit: The minimum age required to apply for the examination is 18 years and there is no upper age limit. The only condition is to fulfil the required educational qualifications needed for this exam.
