Delhi NMMS Scholarship Eligibility

• Students enrolled in the 8th (VIII) standard.
• The NMMS Scholarship eligibility requirements are also constructed on the basis of aggregate percentage of marks as well as family income.
• Students who meet the specified eligibility criteria for the NMMS Online Application Registration can apply for the program through their respective school or fill out the NMMS Online Application Form on their own.

Educational criteria 

Candidates who are interested in applying for the NMMS Scholarship can only do so if they meet the qualifying conditions listed below. Students are advised to fill out the application form carefully, as any incorrect information might result in the application being cancelled. The minimum required percentage marks for being eligible for the NMMS Scholarship is as follows:

• General – 55% marks or equivalent grade
• SC/ST/PWD – 50% marks or equivalent grade

Income criteria 

Candidates whose parental/guardian annual income is less than 1,50,000/- are eligible.

Important Points:-

• Students enrolled at ” Kendriya Vidyalayas” are not eligible for the NMMS Scholarship.
• Similarly, students enrolled in State Government Institutions’ Residential Schools, where boarding, housing, and education are given, are not eligible for the NMMS Scheme.
• According to the scheme’s criteria, students attending private schools are not eligible for the scholarship.

NMMS Scholarship Online Registration 2023

Students who are eligible for the National Merit Cum Scholarship Scheme must complete the application form according to the steps outlined below.

Applicants for the NMMS 2023 Application will be selected for the award of the Means-cum-Merit Scholarship based on State / UT examinations, which will be conducted in two parts.

Delhi NMMS Exam Pattern 2023

Delhi NMMS Scholarship Award & Recognition

• Students who are ultimately accepted on the basis of a written exam are paid a stipend on a quarterly basis (for a period of months).
• The stipend money is instantly deposited into the beneficiary’s account at the State Bank of India.
• From IX class onwards, the stipend is deposited to the beneficiary’s A/C.
• This scheme allows a student to receive up to 6000 rupees per year, with a minimum limit of 500 rupees per year.
• An NMMS Scholarship stipend would be awarded to an applicant for a maximum of four (4) years.
