How to Apply Under Sikh Minority Quota at Delhi University?

The candidates need to follow these instructions to apply under Sikh Minority Quota ad Delhi University:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on New Applicant Sign Up.
  • Click on New Registration tab.
  • Register yourself by filling the basic details such as name, gender, email id and mobile number.
  • After registration, login using the id and password.
  • Fill the complete details such as personal, academic and qualification details asked correctly.
  • Upload the required documents in the prescribed format only.
  • Pay the application fee in online mode.
  • Submit the application form and take a printout for further use.

The students belonging to the Sikh community may apply for Delhi University’s four Sikh minority colleges. There is a separate quota for admission of Sikh students in these four colleges.

Delhi University’s four Sikh minority colleges are:

  1. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce
  2. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College
  3. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College
  4. Mata Sundari College For Women

DU UG Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for DU postgraduate and undergraduate courses:

For UG Courses

Courses Qualification Eligibility
BMS/B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics/BBA (FIA) Candidate should have passed/appearing 12th examination by securing 60% in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi (55% for SC, ST, CW and PwD categories).
Candidates applying for improvement in 2020 shall not be eligible for admission.
B.Tech (Information technology & Mathematical Innovation) 10 + 2 examination with Mathematics.
Minimum 60 % in four subjects (including mathematics), 54% for OBC, 57% for PwD/ CW category and passing marks for SC/ST.
B.A. (Hons.) Humanities & Social Sciences Passed/appearing 10+2 examination.
Minimum marks criteria are applicable as B.Tech (Information technology & Mathematical Innovation).
Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.Ed) 12th passed/appearing with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
B.Sc. in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports 12th passed/appearing with at least 45% aggregate marks (The aggregate marks will be determined on the basis of one language and three best subjects).
B.A. (Hons.) Multi-Media & Mass Comm. Minimum qualification is 12th passed/appearing with 75% aggregate of best four including 85% in English (for general category).
This course is only for women candidates.

DU UG Admissions 2023 Entrance Test Dates

Delhi University released the dates for entrance test for various courses. The tentative schedule is announced and open for suggestions. Whereas final schedule for various UG, Masters and M.Phil/PhD courses will be announced after May 2023.

Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB)

The women aspirants from the state of Delhi seeking admissions to BA and BCom courses in Delhi University may opt for doing the same from the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).

NCWEB Unique System: For NCWEB candidates the lectures are conducted on Sundays, leaving students with six working days. The NCWEB is a welcome arrangement and the most satisfactory way to attain a degree from DU.” The 26 UG centres are running in various Delhi University colleges and each centre has 284 BA and 184 BCom seats,”.

  • In this new-age of 100% cut-offs
  • Classroom crunch and gender discrimination
  • 26 UG and one PG centres
  • Approximately 23,000 students already registered.
  • The annual fee is approximately ₹3,500 only.
  • The minimum attendance of 66.67%
