CAT 2022 Registration will start tentatively in the month of August by the Indian Institute of Management.  Interested candidates can apply only through online mode. Common Admission Test (CAT) is a nationwide examination conducted by IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) across the country on a rotation basis. IIM Calcutta is said to be organizing CAT 2021. Many institutions apart from IIMs [for example FMS Delhi, SPJIMR Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, IMI New Delhi, JBIMS Mumbai, IMT Ghaziabad, etc.]  consider CAT scores as their basis for MBA admissions. Application for CAT is invited once in a year.

How to Register for CAT 2022?

The candidates can check below in the given points way to register for CAT 2022:
  • Create a profile and log in on IIM-CAT website with your basic details.
  • Immediately after login, IIM will send you a CAT registration ID and password.
  • With this unique CAT registration ID, a candidate can log in into CAT 2022 EXAM ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM which will contain a combined Online registration form and  Application form
  • Candidates will have to upload academic details, the scanned images of their photograph, signature and other documents along with category certificates as prescribed by IIM to complete the registration process.
  • After submission of the registration form, the candidate will receive a User ID on the registered email with the subject line ‘’CAT 2022 Login Details’’. The candidate is required to check his/her mailbox immediately and in the case doesn’t find it there, also check the spam mail.
  • All the information should be ready before the filling of the Application Form.
  • The application is not required to be completed in one go. The aspirant can revisit the CAT application form several times and complete it in steps
  • The candidate will not be allowed to continue his/her registration process if mandatory information is not filled up.
  • The candidate will have to upload the required documents, their scanned photograph, and other important basic details whenever needed, otherwise, the registration process will remain incomplete.
  • If the given password is forgotten during the online application process, the candidate can click on the ‘’forget password’’ on the existing user window. The new password will be sent in an E-mail [ not via SMS].
  • The work experience is to be filled in accordance with the completed months of work.
  • After completion of the registration process, the CAT Online Application form will consist of programme details on all the 20 IIMs. The candidate has to choose the relevant programme for which he/she wishes to give the personal interview process.
  • After completing the payment process through credit card/debit card or net banking, the application form will be considered complete. A confirmatory mail will be sent to your E-mail ID.
  • After filling all the details carefully and submitting the form, candidates are required to take a printout of their form for further use.
  • Any changes to the application form cannot be made after the submission.
  • The CAT form correction will start from the last week of September.

Documents Required for CAT 2022 Registration

  • Mark sheets (10th /12th/ Degree/Diploma)
  • Work experience, if any
  • Applicable Certificates to upload
  • Scanned images of passport size photo and signature. (The photo should not be more than six months old and should have a white background)
  • Scanned image of the Passport size photo with the dimensions 35mm X 45mm along with the scanned image of your signature with the dimensions 1000mm X 35 mm. is required to be uploaded at the time of registration for CAT. Please note that the documents file format should be .jpg or .jpeg and the file size should not be more than 80KB each. The image should be clear with a minimum resolution of 150px.
  • List of the IIM programmes to which you wish to apply
  • CAT exam fee payment instruments to pay CAT 2022 exam fee – like Debit/Credit cards.

Correction in CAT 2022 Registration Form

The correction window for CAT 2022 Registration will open once. If candidates make mistake while filling the details in the registration form, they can rectify it during the limited time when the forms are open for correction. How to correct CAT 2022 Registration Form?

The candidate must follow the following steps:
  1. First of all, go to the official website.
  2. Click on “Existing User: tab.
  3. Enter your user id and password.
  4. Then correct various section of the Registration Form.

CAT 2022 Registration Important Details

  • CAT 2022 registration form would be a single document divided into 5 pages

There is no additional application fee for applying to the 50 management programs offered by the leading 20 IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) in the country. The application fee can be paid through debit/ credit card or net banking.

CAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates will have to read the CAT eligibility criteria before applying:

  • Applicants must be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • The aspirant should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates) in his/her field of study.
  • The percentage obtained in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the concerned university or institution. In the case of grades or CGPA, the conversion would be based on the process defined by the concerned university or institution. The candidate’s CGPA will be divided by the maximum possible CGPA and multiply the result with 100 in the absence of the percentage conversion scheme.
  • Those applicants who are appearing in final year examination can also apply.
  • CS/CA/ICWA candidates are also eligible to apply.

GITAM CDL Admission 2022: Distant Learning Registration

GITAM CDL Admission 2022 will commence from January 2022(tentative). Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) provides distant learning education courses to eligible candidates.     • Candidate must hold a bachelors degree of any university recognised by GITAM University as equivalent thereto.   • MA (Economics) 2 Years:
    • Candidate must hold a degree other than BFA and BAOL of any university recognized by GITAM University as equivalent thereto. The candidate should have appeared for GAT exam conducted by GITAM University. Admissions to the course will be based on the rank obtained in GAT subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria
  • M.Com. (2 Years):
    •  Candidate should have passed any degree of any university recognized by GITAM University as equivalent thereto or a professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/ACS, etc. Moreover, the candidate should have appeared for the GAT examination conducted by GITAM University and qualified the exam with the minimum marks needed.
  • M.Sc. (Biotechnology) (2 Years): 
    • Candidate should have qualified  B.Sc. or equivalent exam with any two of the following courses: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Medical Lab Technology, Genetics, Zoology, Botany, Agriculture, Veterinary Science and Environmental Science

  • Mode: UCEED is a computer-based examination (online mode).
  • Duration: The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  • Maximum Marks: The question paper will be of a maximum of 300 marks.
  • Sections: The question paper will be consisting of 3 sections.
  • Type of Questions: In section A, Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions will be asked. Section B and section C will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

The UCEED exam will have questions from the following six topics:

VISUALIZATION AND SPATIAL ABILITY: Pictorial and diagrammatic questions to test, understanding of transformation and/or manipulation of 2D shapes and 3D objects and their spatial relationships, knowledge of practical and everyday mechanical and scientific concepts.

OBSERVATION AND DESIGN SENSITIVITY: Ability to detect concealed properties in ordinary things, people, situations, and events, and thinking critically about them. Applying attention to certain details, analyzing, reasoning, classifying, inferring and predicting. Ability to discern subtle differences in visual properties and aesthetic outcomes.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL AWARENESS: General awareness of environmental factors such as climate, population, water, vegetation, pollution, weather, natural resources etc., and their implications on the design of products, images, infrastructure, and environment. Awareness of social and cultural connection with the design, history of the designed artefact, and socially responsible and environmentally sustainable design responses. History of art, sculpture, and literature.

ANALYTICAL AND LOGICAL REASONING: Ability to look at information, be it qualitative or quantitative in nature, and discern patterns within the information. Ability to weigh opinions, arguments or solutions against appropriate criteria. Perform to check for hidden bias or hidden assumptions and whether evidence and argument support conclusions. Ability to use logic and structured thinking to deduce from a short passage, which of a number of statements is the most accurate response to a posed question. Data Interpretation, brainteasers, and patterns.

LANGUAGE AND CREATIVITY: Ability to understand and use Standard English. Reading comprehension, knowledge of English grammar. Ability to think creatively in terms of alternatives, the ability to distinguish innovative options and think out of the box.

DESIGN THINKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING: Ability to use visual analogies, metaphors, signs, and symbols. Ability to understand complexity, identify the problem, generate alternatives, evaluate options and select solutions.

UCEED 2022 Application Form

  • The online application process will be started on Second week of October 2020.
  • The application form will be released in online mode on the official website.
  • Moreover, The last date to fill the form is expected to be Second week of November 2020 without late fee and with late fee of Rs. 500/- is Third week of November 2020 (Tentatively).
  • Students of any discipline, who appeared for class XII exams in 2020 or due to appear in 2022, are eligible to apply for UCEED 2022.
  • The General/OBC-NCL category students had to be born on or after 01 October 1995 and SC/ST/PWD had to be born on or after 01 October 1990.
  • Candidates are only allowed 2 attempts in consecutive years. The examination took place at 20 centres in 2022 increasing from 19 centres in 2022.

  • Nationality: UCEED is open to Indian/Foreign and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)/PIO (Person of Indian Origin) cardholders.
  • Age Limit: Candidate should have been born on or after 01 October 1995 (Open or OBC-NCL) and on or 01 October 1990 (SC/ST/PwD category).
  • Qualifying Exam: The applying candidate should pass the 12th or its equivalent exam from the recognized board/university.
  • Stream: Candidates passed with any stream, i.e., Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities are eligible to appear in UCEED 2022.
  • Appearing Candidates: Those passed in 2020 or studying in their final year (2022) of qualifying exam are eligible to apply.

As per the latest updates regarding the procedure, several candidates from Other backward classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories are facing problems in the online registration process.

Such candidates are unable to upload their attested certificates verified under their eligibility for the seats under the categories mentioned above. As per the guidelines, attested certificates that candidates need to upload should be issued on or after 31 March 2020, for the guaranteed admission.

However, due to the lockdown imposed by the Government of India considering COVID-19 issue, both government and private officials are forced to remain away. As a result, the candidates are unable to get the newly issued certificates. Thus, several OBC category or any other category candidates could not get an updated certificate issued this year to be uploaded for admission purpose. Moreover, candidates from some region do not have internet access to fill the application form online. Similar issues are being registered by the EWS category students as well.

Considering this problem, DU’s SC, ST, and OBC teachers’ association have also written to the DU vice-chancellor Yogesh Tyagi that candidates be admitted upon furnishing a self-declaration and a previously issued certificate. Many applicants are also found unable to apply for new certificates online.

Thus, after accepting and reviewing the situation, the administration has stated that the candidates can upload their acknowledgement slips of certificate applications for the time being and then produce the certificates at the time of registration. The administration has also stated that candidates can also apply online for the new certificates while uploading the application slip. The university has said that it would help the students in case more time is needed to upload the certificates.

CA IPCC 2021 Result

Result for CA Intermediate 2021, shall be published online on the official website. To check the result, candidates can log in using their registration number/PIN and roll number. Along with the result, a merit list is also published via online mode. To check the merit list test takers are required to enter their registration number or roll number. If a student qualifies the Intermediate exam with 70% total of all papers, he/she will be considered passed with distinction. The CA Intermediate result along with merit list comprises of details of those candidates who secured a minimum of 55% and above marks and up to the maximum of 50th Rank on all India basis. Rank certificate/ Merit list: A candidate who fulfills all the following criteria is issued a rank certificate, indicating the rank secured by him/her:
  • He should have passed the examination in one sitting;
  • He should not have availed of any exemption in any paper and
  • He should have secured a minimum of 55 percent marks in aggregate
  • Rank certificates are issued up to 50th rank, on All-India basis.

CA IPCC 2021 Eligibility Criteria

These criteria given below are the minimum requirement for every candidate, which they should be able to fulfil to sit for the exam.

  1. Age Limit: There is no age limit for becoming eligible to appear in CA IPCC 2021.
  2. Academic Qualification: The candidates must have passed Class X (or equivalent) and Class XII (or equivalent) from a recognized Educational Board. The aspirants must have passed Class XII (or equivalent) from Commerce Stream. The applicants must have qualified CA CPT Examination by securing marks more than the cut-off marks.

CA IPCC 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing in the Intermediate/IIPCE and Final Examinations under the Old and New Scheme of Education and Training must note that beginning from May 2019 attempt, assessment in the following subjects would be partially based on objective type questions:

  • Objective Type Questions: 30 % Percent .
  • The remaining questions: 70% (as per the present pattern of assessment).
  • Marks per Question: 1 or more marks (multiple choice questions).
  • Negative Marking: No negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Choice of Questions: Compulsory (no internal or external choice in them).
