Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education

A separate Directorate called the Directorate of Government Examinations, TN was established in 1975 for conducting and regulating intermediate education in the state by the government of Tamil Nadu. Whereas the first secondary school leaving certificate examination was conducted in 1911. Also, the HSC examination was started in 1980.  HSC Passing Marks 2024

Only those students are declared as qualified who obtain the minimum marks as set by the Board. Students need to obtain at least 70 out of 200 marks to be declared as qualified. In the theory exam, one needs to get a minimum of 40 marks out of 150, and for practical 30 out of 50 marks is needed.

Tamil Nadu 12th Revaluation Result 2024

After the declaration of results there are some students who are not satisfied with their marks obtained in the exam. They can apply for revaluation. The answer sheets are revalued by the three-member committee of subject experts. Those who apply for a scanned copy of the answer sheet can download the application for revaluation and submit it to the concerned Chief Educational Officer along with the fee in cash within the stipulated period of time. The result for TN 12th revaluation is declared generally 10-15 days after the processing of the application is over. The evaluation result is released in the pdf format. Only those candidates can apply for revaluation who also apply for the scan copy of the answer script.

Tamil Nadu 12th Re-totaling Result 2024

After the publication of TN HSC result 2020, students can also apply for re-totalling of marks. It can be done for all subjects in HSC exam. In the re-totalling process, any question which is left unvalued will be valued and marks will be given to the students. There are two ways to apply for re-totalling of marks:
  • First is to apply for re-totalling after the publication of the result.
  •  After getting the scanned copies from the board and then applying for it.

Supplementary Examinations 2024

Those candidates who are unable to pass the examinations with the minimum passing marks. To save the year for the students and prevent them from appearing for the exams again the board conducts supplementary examinations as a second chance. Students need to fill in the necessary details in the application form and submit it by paying the required amount of fee. Once the board successfully conducts the supplementary exam, the board declares TN +2 supplementary exam result online.

CBSE Class 10 Science Exam will be conducted in March 2024. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 10th Science paper from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM. The paper carried a total of 80 marks and students were allotted 3 hours to complete their paper.   • The question paper consisted of 30 questions divided into three sections A, B and C.

There are 30 questions in the question paper. All questions are compulsory. (ii) Section A – question no. 1 to 14 – all questions or part thereof are of one mark each. These questions comprises multiple choice question (MCQ), very short answer type questions (VSA), and Assertion-Reason type questions. Answer to these questions should be given in one word or one sentence. (iii) Section B – a question no. 15 to 24 are short answer type questions, carrying 3 marks each. Answer to these questions should not exceed 50 to 60 words. (iv) Section C – a question no. 25 to 30 are long answer type questions, carrying 5 marks each. Answer to these questions should not exceed 80 to 90 words. (v) Answer should be brief and to the point. Also, the above-mentioned word limit is adhered to as far as possible. (vi) There is no overall choice in the question paper. However, an internal choice has been provided in some questions in each section. Only one of the choices in such questions have to be attempted. Answer question numbers 3(a) to 3(d)  and 4(a) to 4(d) based on your understanding of the following paragraphs and the related studied concepts. 3. The growing size of the human population is a cause of concern for all people. The rate of birth in a given population will determine its size. Reproduction is the process by which organisms increase their population. The process of sexual maturation for reproduction is gradual and takes place while the general body is still going on. Some degree of sexual maturation does not necessarily mean that mind or body is ready for sexual acts or for having and bringing up children. Various contraceptive devices are being used by human beings to control the size of the population. (a) List two common signs of sexual maturation in boys and girls. (b) What is the result of reckless female foeticide? (c) Which contraceptive method changes the hormonal balance of the body? (d) Write two factors that determine the size of a population.
