CBSE Class 12th Board Exam result 2024 has been declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education on 13 May 2024. The result has been released in online mode. The board conducts the examination for class 12th standard based on the CBSE syllabus across all the regions in India. The pass percentage is 87.98% in 2024 which is slightly better than last year.   • Further, the students dissatisfied with their marks in CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams can send their answer sheets for re-evaluation and verification.
  • CBSE Class 10 and 12 marksheets can be downloaded from the CBSE official website, DigiLocker, and UMANG app.
  • Applicants need to pay the re-evaluation and verification fee per subject through the official website, cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Class 12 Board Exams Passing Criteria

Students would be considered to have cleared the CBSE board exams if they fulfill the criteria mentioned below:

  • Should secure a grade higher than ‘E’ (that is, at least 33% marks) in all the five subjects of external exams in the main (or compartmental exams)
  • For practical work-related subjects, candidates should secure 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practical. Apart from this, aspirants should have secured at least 33% marks in aggregate

Aspirants will get a pass certificate by the Board if they get a grade above ‘E’ in all subjects of internal assessment (unless he/she is exempted).

CBSE 12th Revaluation/ Rechecking Result 2024

The board is giving an option to the students to appear for the exam or get their results based on their performance in the past three exams. Hence, it is not confirmed if the students will get an option for revaluation or rechecking. CBSE releases class 12 revaluation/rechecking form online at the board’s website. In the application, students need to fill in the necessary details and submit it by paying the required amount of fee. The result for the same can be checked by logging in using details like roll number, school number, centre number, etc.

CBSE Supplementary Result 2024 Class 12

For those who fail in one or two subjects, the board conducts the Supplementary exam for such students.  To apply for the compartment exam, students need to fill the application form online from 31 May 2024 and then the board issues the admit card. Once the board conducts the compartment exam, the board declares CBSE 12th compartment 2024 result online at cbseresults.nic.in. To check the compartment result, students will need to enter details like roll number, admit card id, centre code, etc.

GSEB HSC Supplementary Exam 2024

After the declaration of results, in case if a student does not manage to pass the exam, the board gives them second chance to appear and qualify the exam. Such students can appear for supplementary exams which generally is held in July month. Those who have failed in one or two subjects can apply for the supplementary exam. The candidates have to fill the supplementary form before the deadline. After the exams are completed, the board declares the Supplementary Results. The application process for Supplementary Examination is over. Further, the board will conduct Supplementary Exams from 24 June to 3 July 2024 for Science and Vocational Stream. Moreover, Supplementary Exams for General Stream will be conducted from 24 June to 6 July 2024.

Gujarat HSC Rechecking Results 2024

Soon after the results are declared some candidates are in doubt or are unsatisfied with the marks they got in the particular subjects. So the board gives them the chance to apply for rechecking of the results. Through this provision, the board evaluated the questions that are being left unchecked. The applications for rechecking can be filled and submitted by the students online at gseb.org. Along with the application, students also have to pay an amount per subject for which they wish to apply rechecking for.
