NCHMCT JEE 2024: Application Form, Exam Date, Admit Card

NCHMCT JEE 2024 also known as the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA). The Joint Entrance Exam is conducted at the national level once in a year. This  JEE test exam is conducted to offer admission to hospitality and hotel administration programmes in India. The NCHMCT JEE 2024 is a national-level entrance exam for admission to the three-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Hospitality and Hotel Administration course at the National Institutes of Hotel Management (NIHMs) and affiliated colleges.

NCHMCT JEE

The exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode in two languages, Hindi and English. The exam will consist of five sections:
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning and Logical Deduction
  • English Language
  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
  • Service Sector Aptitude
The total number of questions will be 200, with each question carrying one mark. The duration of the exam will be three hours.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for the NCHMCT JEE 2024 are 50% for general category candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates.
  • The merit list for the NCHMCT JEE 2024 will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s scores in the exam. The candidates with the highest scores will be ranked at the top of the merit list.
  • The seat allotment for the NCHMCT JEE 2024 will be done through a centralized counseling process.

  • The application will be filled through online mode on the official website.
  • Applicants have to fill the complete application because no incomplete form will be accepted by the officials.
  • Multiple forms of the single candidate will be rejected by the officials.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The detailed information regarding NCHMCT JEE 2024 Eligibility criteria is given below.

  • Nationality: Applicants must be a citizen of India
  • Education Qualification: Pass Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent (10+2 system) with English as one of the subjects.
  • Age Limit: 
    • General & OBC Applicants upper age limit is 25 years as on 01 July 2020 (Candidates born on or after 01 July 1994 are eligible).
    • In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the upper age limit is 28 years as on 01 July 2020. That is SC/ST candidates born on or after 01 July 1991 are eligible.
  • Appearing Candidate: Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • Physical Fitness: All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical classes as required in the Course at the time of admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

RESERVATIONS

“For admission to a participating institute, please see the reservations applicable in that particular institute. In case of institutes run by Central Government, 15% of the seats are reserved for the category Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST) and 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the “ Non Creamy layer” (OBC-NCL). Each category will have 5% reservations for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) as defined in The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act 2016).”

“No change in the category will be entertained after the last date of NCHM JEE-2020 application form and no subsequent changes will be effective for NCHM Score 2020.”

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Admit Card

  • NCHMCT JEE Admit Card will be available in the month of June 2024
  • Hall ticket will be released on the official website through online mode.
  • No candidate will receive their admit card through post or any other offline mode.
  • Download the hall ticket.
  • Students have to carry the admit card along with one ID proof with 2 passport size photo.

NCHM JEE 2024 Score

  • The raw (actual) marks scored by a candidate shall be considered further for computation of the result of NCHM JEE 2024.
  • No scorecard will be sent to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their scorecards from the official website: www.ntanchm.nic.in only.
  • There shall be no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of the Score. Also, No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
  • Finally, The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the NCHM Score in 2024.
  • However, the NTA does not collect the information regarding a total number of seats available in the institutions and reservation criteria followed by the institutions.

Merit List

All India NCHM merit list of candidates will be based on the marks secured in the NCHM-JEE Computer Based Test (CBT). In case of ties or securing equal marks, the merit will be determined as under;

  1. Candidate securing higher marks in English exam of NCHMCT JEE shall rank higher.
  2. In the case of candidates securing equal marks in NCHM-JEE, as well as in English component of NCHM-JEE, then the candidate securing higher marks in the Service Aptitude Component of NCHM-JEE shall rank higher.
  3. In case of a tie in (i) and (ii) above, the candidate older in age shall rank higher.

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT)

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India established an autonomous body for the interrelated growth and development of hospitality education in the country. NCHMCT was established in 1982. Currently, the Council office is at A-34, Sector-62, Noida (U.P.) India, while the registered office is at Pusa, New Delhi. Initially, it was called as National Board of Studies in Food Management, Catering & Nutrition.

NIOS 10th Date Sheet 2023: October Exam Time Table (Released)

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is released the NIOS 10th Date Sheet 2023. The exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 will commence from October 3 and continue until November 8. The time table will be available for download on the NIOS website, nios.ac.in. National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has made it available in online mode on the official website i.e nios.ac.in. NIOS 10th Class Exam Latest Updates

NIOS Class 10, 12 Timetable and Exam Information:
  • Practical Exam Dates: NIOS will be conducting the practical exams for Class 10 and Class 12 from September 16 to October 1, 2023.
  • Timetable Release: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the timetable for Class 10 and Class 12 theory and practical exams for the October session. The timetable can be downloaded from the official website, nios.ac.in.
  • Exam Dates: The exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 will commence from October 3 and continue until November 8.
  • Result Timing: According to a statement from NIOS, the examination results are expected to be declared approximately 7 weeks after the final exam date.
  • Hall Ticket Download: Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from the official website.
  • Document Issuance: The mark-sheet-cum-certificate and migration-cum-transfer certificate will be provided directly to successful candidates through their respective allotted institutes. In case of canceled Als, these documents will be sent to candidates by post to their residential addresses available at NIOS through the concerned regional center.

The official authority of NIOS will announce the exam dates for class 10 students. The board will announce the exam dates for all subjects like English, Hindi, Maths, Science, and Social Science. Also, the authority conducts the practical exams for class 10 students. Therefore, students can check the NIOS Exam date class 10 April. The exams are conducted in two sessions. PMSSS 2023 Application Form

PMSSS 2023 Application Form will release in online mode only on the AICTE official portal. Those who wish to apply need to register online only. The candidates need to keep below points for applying Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme:

  • The candidates must fill the form online on the official portal only.
  • They should register themselves within the stipulated date.
  • During the registration process, aspirants need to provide their active mobile number and email ID.
  • They must keep their user ID and Password with safety to be used further when needed.

How to Apply for PMSSS 2023?

PMSSS 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are eligible to apply for PMSSS 2023 only if they follow eligibility requirements:

  • They should be Domicile of Union Territories of J & K and Ladakh.
  • Should have passed XII from JKBOSE or CBSE affiliated schools located in Union Territories of J & K and Ladakh.
  • Students who qualify national level test like NEET, JEE, CLAT, etc are also eligible to apply.
  • Should have passed 10+3 diploma from Union Territories of J & K and Ladakh Polytechnic for admission in the second year registration/Counselling will be held subject to the vacancy in the previous academic year in the prescribed list of Institutions.
  • Should fulfil the minimum age limit & criteria as prescribed by the Institution/University.
  • The reservation policy will be followed of UTs of J&K and Ladakh region.
  • The family income of a student should not be more than Rs 8.00 Lakh per annum.

PMSSS 2023 Non-Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are not eligible for Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme if they fall under the following categories:

  • Not applied through AICTE portal
  • Courses are offered from Open University
  • Availing benefits from other Govt./Non-Govt. scheme
  • Admission to the course is through Management quota
  • Joined Institute other than those in AICTE portal
  • Pursuing any Diploma/Post Graduate Program
  • Admission is through Agents/NGOs

PMSSS 2023 Documents Verification

Aspirants need to take a printout of online filled application and visit the nearest facilitation centre established by Govt. of UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh along with original documents & one set of self-attested photocopies of all original documents for verification.

  • Original Documents to be produced at the time of Verification at Facilitation Center are same which are to be attached while applying the scheme.
  • After documents verification, the candidate should collect the copy of document verification report.
  • The choice filling window would be activated for only those candidates who will successfully register and get their documents verified at any one of the Facilitation Centres.

PMSSS 2023 Merit List

The authority releases the merit list to provide Scholarship scheme on the basis of the following:

  • After the documents verification, merit lists will be made available subject to the declaration of result through the official website site.
  • The merit list is prepared and displayed by AICTE based on the marks obtained by candidates in CBSE/JKBOSE 10+2 exam before the first round of counselling result.

NTSE 2023 Latest Update

The NTSE 2023 exam dates are yet to be released by NCERT. The official dates and application process will be updated on the NCERT website soon.

  1. NTSE is a national-level scholarship examination conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
  2. The examination is conducted in two stages: Stage 1 and Stage 2.
  3. Stage 1 is conducted at the state/UT level, while Stage 2 is conducted at the national level.
  4. Students studying in Class 10 in recognized schools are eligible to appear for Stage 1 of the NTSE examination.
  5. The Stage 1 exam consists of two papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
  6. The Stage 2 exam consists of two papers as well: MAT and SAT, but the difficulty level of the questions is higher than Stage 1.
  7. The NTSE scholarship is awarded to the selected students on the basis of their performance in both the stages.
  8. The scholarship amount for Class 11 and 12 students is Rs. 1,250 per month, while for undergraduate and postgraduate students, it is Rs. 2,000 per month.
  9. In addition to the scholarship, students selected in NTSE also get recognition and honor from the Government of India.
  10. NTSE is a highly competitive exam, and students are advised to prepare well in advance to achieve success.

NTSE 2023 Application Form 

Candidates can check the details regarding the NTSE Application form 2023 given below.

  • NCERT will release the application form in both online and offline mode.
  • The NTSE Stage I is conducted by the SCERT of respective states/ UTs.
  • However, the National-level Stage II exam of NTSE is conducted by the NCERT.
  • Therefore, the candidates must fill the application form of NTSE as soon as it is available on the website of the NCERT/ SCERT.
  • To fill the NTSE Offline application form applicants will have to visit their school or government offices where NTSE form releases.
  • Then, the filled-in application by the student is submitted to the State Liaison Officer duly signed by the Principal of the school before the due date.
  • However, to fill the online application form, candidates have to visit the website of the conducting authority. 

How to Apply for NTSE 2023 for Class 10 Students?

The candidates who are eligible to apply for NTSE must fill the online/ offline application form. The application form of NTSE for class 10 students will be available on the website of the conducting authority. Also, the advertisement of the NTSE application form will be notified through the local newspapers, or through the school authorities. Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for the NTSE scholarship exam:

  • Initially, the candidates must visit the website of NCERT to download the NTSE 2023 application form.
  • Then the candidates must fill in all the details in the application form. They must fill in the details like personal information, education qualification, contact details, etc.
  • After filling in all the details in the application form, the applicants must visit their school office to get the form signed by their Principal. 
  • Finally, the duly-filled application form must be submitted to the State Liaison Officer before the last date of submission.

For Indian Students Studying Abroad

The process of applying for Indian students who are studying abroad is different. Check the steps given below:

  • Indian students who are studying abroad can directly apply for Stage 2 of the NTSE exam.
  • Such candidates will have to download the application form from the website.
  • The duly filled-in application must be sent with a photocopy of the mark sheet of the previous exam.

NTSE 2023 Application Fees

  • Candidates will have to pay the NTSE application fee as prescribed by their respective State/UT.
  • The application fees of the NTSE Stage I application form, which is conducted by the SCERT vary according to different States/ UTs.
  • However, the candidates will not have to pay any application fees for the National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) Stage II, which is conducted by the NCERT.

NTSE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates applying for the National Talent Search Exam must read the eligibility criteria before doing the NTSE Registration. The eligibility requirement for the Stage I exam is specified by the SCERT. However, for the Stage II National-level exam, the requirements are defined by the NCERT. Every State and UTs define the minimum requirements like academic qualification, age limit, and minimum qualifying marks in the previous examinations. Only those candidates who fulfil the minimum NTSE Eligibility requirements and qualify in the NTS examination will be awarded the scholarship. The detailed eligibility requirements for Stage I and II is given below:

  • Candidates currently studying in Class 10th from any recognized Private/Government schools including Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, and Sainik Schools can apply.
  • The candidates can appear in their respective state/UT’s for the NTSE stage I exam, as there is no domicile restriction.
  • The SCERT of respective state/UTs may mention any additional criteria for the stage I exam such as minimum qualifying marks in the previous class.
  • Candidates who are completing their education from Open and Distance Learning (ODL) such as the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or State Open Boards are also eligible to apply and appear for NTSE 2023.
  • The candidates studying from Open and Distance Learning must not be less than 18 years of age at the time of appearing in the scholarship exam. Moreover, they should not be employed (not even part-time jobs) and they should be appearing in the Class 10th qualifying examination for the first time.  
For candidates studying in India: Candidates appearing for the NTSE stage II exam by NCERT need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria –
  • They must be Indian Nationals, irrespective of where they are pursuing their Class 10th qualifying examination i.e. in India or abroad
  • They should have qualified stage I exam at the state level
For candidates studying outside India:
  • The Indian national candidates studying abroad can directly appear for the Stage II exam of the NTS scholarship award
  • They should have scored at least 60% marks in their previous qualifying examination i.e. Class 9th
  • Such candidates should be planning to pursue their higher education only in India after obtaining the NTSE Scholarship

NTSE 2023 Exam Pattern

The students who have applied for the NTSE scholarship test must appear in the exam. They must check the NTSE Exam Pattern for Stages I and II. 

  • NTSE is an offline test.
  • The NTS exam comprises of MCQ question paper having two parts, of 2 hours each. 
  • The medium of the Stage 1 exam is specified by respective state authorities.
  • While Stage 2 exam is offered in Asamiya, Bangla, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu languages.
  • There is no negative marking applicable in NTSE 2023.

NTSE 2023 Admit Card

The official authorities will issue the NTSE admit card to all the eligible students. The important information regarding the admit card of NTSE exam is given below:

  • The admit card of NTSE will be released at least 15 days prior to the exam. 
  • Admit Card for NTSE Stage I will be issued by the SCERT of different states/ UTs.
  • Some states may release the admit card through offline mode. While a few states will issue the hall ticket online through their website.
  • Some states also send the NTSE to admit card at the candidate’s postal address through speed post.
  • Applicants can also collect admit cards from their respective schools. 
  • Candidates can download their hall ticket through the login credentials like Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • The admit card should not be damaged/ torn/ tampered with.
  • Details like Candidates’ names, stage of the exam, date/ day, exam centre address, instructions for the exam, etc are printed on the admit card.
  • Entry in the examination hall will be permitted only through a valid hall ticket.

NTSE 2023 Answer Key Stage I & II

The official authority will release the NTSE Answer Key for the Stage I & II exam. 

  • The NTSE Provisional Answer key will be released one or two days after the exam.
  • The answer key for each part will be separate.
  • Students can download the pdf of the NTSE answer key in PDF format.
  • Candidates can download the official answer key from the portal of the conducting authority.
  • They can match their responses. Students can also raise objections/ challenge the provisional answer key if they have some doubts.
  • The final result will be on the basis of the answer key (final).

NTSE 2023 Result

Once the examination process is completed the official authority will announce the NTSE Result for the candidates. The details about the NTSE result/ scorecard is given below:

  • NTSE Stage I result in the qualifying status of the candidates in both the papers, i.e. MAT and SAT.
  • Candidates can check the Stage I result from the website of the respective SCERT/DGE through their Registration number and Date of Birth.
  • The result is released in the form of a merit list.
  • All the candidates who qualify in the Stage I exam, are eligible to sit for Stage II.
  • The final result of the selected candidates will be released on the basis of the result of the Stage II exam.

NTSE 2023 Cut Off

The candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in order to pass the NTSE exam. The official authority decides the NTSE Cut Off marks for the qualifying candidates. This cut-off mark changes every year. The final cut-off marks will be announced after the completion of the Stage II result. The authority decides the minimum cut off marks on the basis of the following criteria:

  • The total number of students appearing in the exam.
  • The difficulty level of the paper.
  • A number of seats are available for Scholarships.

NTSE 2023 Reservation

  • 15% scholarships will be reserved for students belonging to the SC category,
  • 7.5% scholarships for students belonging to the ST category and
  • 27% scholarships for students belonging to the OBC category.

  • 10% scholarships for students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) category.

  • Educational Qualification: Applicants should have completed the 10th/ Matriculation along with ITT Course from a recognized board/Institution with passing marks.
  • Nationality: The Candidates should be Indian Nationals.
  • Marks Required: Aspirants should have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M. with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) in the examination.
