- Registration Deadline: The online registration for the third round of Jharkhand NEET UG counselling 2023 is currently underway, and candidates can apply by September 12.
- Merit List: JCECEB will publish the merit list for the third round on September 13, 2023.
- Choice Filling: Choice filling for the third-round seat allotment will commence on September 14, 2023.
Fresh candidates who have not been included in the earlier merit lists and are willing to enroll in unreserved category and NRI quota seats left vacant in MBBS courses after the second round of online counseling at Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Bishrampur, Palamu should complete their registrations through the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, by the specified deadline.

Jharkhand NEET Merit List 2023
According to the previous year’s cutoff, the minimum marks required for MBBS in government college in Jharkhand are around 500-530. However, the cutoff may vary depending on the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the exam. So, it is important to check the cutoff for the current year before applying for counselling.
The state medical authority will publish the merit list after the declaration of NEET written exam result, based on which candidates can participate in the counselling. JCECEB authority will publish the name of the candidates who are selected for counselling according to the cutoff marks. The counselling is done in various rounds only based on the availability of seats. The candidates have to fill the application form to participate in state counselling. It is necessary to submit the counselling fee.
Tie-breaking criteria of Jharkhand MBBS merit list 2023
In the case when two or more then two candidates secure the same marks then the following inter-se-merit criteria is followed for providing ranks:
- Candidate with higher marks in Biology will be given first preference.
- If the tie will still exist then the candidate with the highest marks in Chemistry will be preferred over other candidates.
- If the tie persists then the candidate who secured less number of negative marking will be given a higher rank
- Lastly, if all the above fails, then the senior candidate will be given higher rank.
Jharkhand NEET 2023 Counselling Registration
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has started the process of Jharkhand MBBS 2023 counselling. Counselling for Jharkhand NEET MBBS 2020 will be conducted for the state quota seats. Jharkhand MBBS counselling 2023 will be conducted in two rounds which will be followed by counselling for a mop-up round for any seats left vacant.
