RTE Dadra and Nagar Haveli admission 2023 will be conducted by official authorities under the Right of children to free and compulsory Education Act,2009. The Directorate of primary education, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvassa is responsible to conduct the RTE admission process for the eligible students every year. Children coming from economically weak family backgrounds apply for the Right to Education and get free education under the act. All the schools of Dadra and Nagar Haveli have to provide a mandatory reservation of 25% for the students who come under the RTE act.   Even Private schools have reserved 25% of the total seats. • The applicants of age 6 to 7 years can apply for unpaid education under the 2009 act. 
• Children born in the year of 2014 to 2015 can apply for free education under the 25% reservation provided by the government.
• The family income of the desiring student belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe should be up to 2 lakhs per annum or less.
• Students from other backward classes can apply for the RTE admissions if the family income is less than 1 lakh per year
• Criteria of family income for General category students is upto 68,000 per annum.

The council of Daman and Diu comes up with an online application form for all the children who want to apply for RTE admissions.

• The students have fill the form and submit it in offline mode 
• The Applications should be submitted to the Directorate of Education, Silvassa and Government higher secondary school, Khanvel 
• Parents of the desiring children need to fill the application form correctly and submit it before the due date to get registered. 
• Any forms submitted after the due date will be cancelled.
• Fill the form correctly and attach the required documents and submit the documents with the application form itself 
• The documents should be attached in the prescribed size
• Get a receipt of a submission from the person you are submitting your form to
• Not filling the form correctly may result into the cancellation of the form by the authorities.
• The registered applicants should keep a hard copy of the application form with them until the process of admission is done.

• There are three rounds in the whole admission process. 
• Round One, Round Two and Round Three
• After the results of the 1st round , the parents of the Eligible students have to apply for the 2nd round and then apply for the 3rd round with the same application process all three times.

• Address proof like Passport, Aadhaar card, phone bill, Electricity bill, Driving license, Water bill, Ration card or Rent agreement
• Caste certificate of applicant’s parents. Parents can be issue the same from Mamlatdar or Social welfare officer
• Applicant’s Birth Certificate which can be issued from Nagar palika, Gram panchayat, Hospital Register, Maha Nagar palika, Balvadi register certificate, or even Parents’ notarized affidavit will do
• Colored passport-size photograph of the applicant.
• Applicant’s Parents’ income certificate proof from Mamlatdar office 
• People belonging to BPL, need to submit the BPL card number from BPL card

• In case, the applicant  is an orphan, a copy of an Orphanage certificate or Guardian notarized certificate is needed
• if the applicant is a Child of migrating labors, they have to attach a copy of the Labour and employment department certificate.
• Children who are Special/Mentally challenged child have to get a Civil surgeon certificate
• Applicnts with CWSN have to submit a Civil surgeon certificate
• HIV positive applicants have to submit a Civil surgeon certificate

• The results are announced on the official website and even offline after the lottery system in a few days after the application
• The applicants can check the results online by logging in to the website with help of the login credentials

• The selection process for RTE for all the rounds is the same.
• The official authorities select the candidates based on a lottery system.
• After the lottery, the results are declared on the official website as well as offline by the Directorate of Primary Education.
