RTE Uttarakhand Admission 2023: Eligibility, Application Form

RTE Uttarakhand Admission 2023 is conducted by official authorities from the government of Uttarakhand under the Right of children to free and compulsory Education Act,2009. The Directorate of primary education is responsible to conduct the RTE admission process for the eligible students every year. Students who belong to an economically weak family background apply for the Right to Education and get free primary education under the 2009 act. All the schools of Uttarakhand have to provide mandatory reservations of 25% for the students who come under the RTE act. Even Private schools of the state have reserved 25% of the total seats. The council of Uttarakhand releases online application form for all the children who want to apply for RTE reservations

• The applicants have to fill the form and submit it in offline or online mode 
• Parents of the applicants should fill the application form correctly  and submit it before the due date to get registered and parents of the applicants are responsible for the same
• Forms that are submitted after the given due date will be cancelled.
• Filling the form correctly and attaching the required documents in prescribed size is important 
• Not filling the form correctly may result in cancellation of the form by the authorities
• The registered applicants should compulsorily keep a hard copy of the application form with them until the process of admission is done. 

Online application for RTE Uttarakhand 2023-23

• The authorities responsible for the RTE act provide an online mode of application.
• Applicants wanting to fill the form through the online mode have to  visit the official portal of Uttarakhand RTE and fill the form available on the website
• Attach downloaded soft copies of the required documents with the form and submit it before the due date 
• Parents of the applicants can take help from cyber cafes to fill the form in case of any difficulty

RTE Uttarakhand Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants with an age of 6 to 7 years would be able to apply for unpaid education under the 2009 act. 
• Desiring applicants born in the year of 2014 to 2015 can apply for free education and get reserved seats under the 25 percent reservation provided by the government.
• The parental income of the student belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe should be up to 2 lakhs per annum or less.
• Students from other backward classes can apply if the family income is less than 1 lakh per year
• Criteria of parental income for General category students is upto 68,000 per annum.

RTE Uttarakhand Admission 2023 Result/Merit List

The results of the reservation are decided through a lottery system.

• Results are announced on the official website and even offline after the selection in a few days after application
• The desiring students can check the results online by logging in to the official website with help of the login credentials.

RTE Uttarakhand Selection Process

• The selection process for RTE Uttarakhand for all the three rounds is the same.
• The official authorities responsible for the same select the candidates based on a lottery system.
• After the lottery, the results are released on the official website of Uttarakhand RTE as well as offline by the Directorate of Primary Education.
• The students who get selected are requested to download the admit card from the official website, go to the respective school and take admission.

Admission process for RTE Uttarakhand 2023-23 

• There are three rounds in the whole admission process. 
  • Round one
  • Round Two 
  • Round Three

After the results of the 1st round is declared, the parents of the applicants have to apply for the 2nd round and then apply for the 3rd round with the same application process all three times. 

Documents required for application of RTE Uttarakhand

• Address proof like Passport, phone bill, aadhar card, Electricity bill, Driving license, Water bill, Rent agreement or Ration card
• Caste certificate of applicant’s parents which can be issued from Mamlatdar or Social welfare officer
• Applicant’s Birth Certificate which can be issued from Hospital Register, Gram panchayat, Nagar Palika or even Parents’ notarized affidavit will do
• Passport size photograph (coloured) of the applicant.
• Parental income certificate proof from Mamlatdar office 
• People who belong to BPL, need to submit the BPL card number from their BPL card 
• Applicant’s Aadhar card.
• Parent’s Aadhar card.
• Bank details
• In case, the desiring student is an orphan, a copy of an Orphanage certificate or Guardian notarized certificate is needed
• If the student is a son or daughter of migrating laborers, they have to attach a copy of the Labour and employment department certificate.
• Special/Mentally challenged students have to get a Civil surgeon certificate
• CWSN students have to submit a Civil surgeon certificate too
• HIV positive children will have to submit a Civil surgeon certificate
