Disbursement of Scholarship
- A candidate can avail only one scholarship scheme.
- Beneficiaries have to obtain a minimum of 55% marks in class 9th and 11th and applicants for class 10th must have secured at least 60% marks. (5% relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates).
- Candidates have to open their bank account in State Bank of India or any other scheduled bank or public sector bank which provides core banking facility.
- The scholarship to be paid by the authorities to the recipients will be ensured by SBI in a one-time [Rs.12000] instant recipient list and funds from the ministry.
- SBI will approach some of its branches to coordinate with the education department of each state for scholarship related payments.
