In the science stream, Ayushi Nandan has topped with a score of 94.8 percent, followed by Aditya Kumar with 94.2 percent, and Anushka Singh with 93.8 percent. In the commerce stream, Somya Sharma has topped with a score of 95 percent, followed by Shruti Gupta with 94.5 percent, and Deepak Kumar with 94 percent. In the arts stream, Mohaddesa has topped with a score of 95 percent, followed by Farhan Ahmed with 94.5 percent, and Shruti Singh with 94 percent.
The toppers of all the streams will be awarded with an amount of ₹1 lakh, a laptop, and a Kindle E-Book Reader. Students who have secured the second position in arts, commerce, and science will be awarded with ₹75,000, a laptop, and a Kindle E-Book Reader. Third position holders will get ₹50,000, a laptop, and a Kindle E-Book Reader.
The Bihar Board Class 12 Examinations were held from February 1 to February 11, 2023. The evaluation of answer sheets was done in 123 evaluation centers, and a total of 69,44,777 answer sheets were evaluated.
As many as 13.18 lakh candidates registered for the intermediate final exams in Bihar. The number of candidates who appeared for the examination this year has reduced as compared to last year.
Last year, 1,325,749 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 1,062,557 passed it. In the year 2022, Sangam Raj topped the arts stream with 96.4%, Ankit Kumar Gupta passed the commerce stream with 94.6%, and Saurav Kumar topped the science stream with 94.4%.
