Tie-breaking criteria of West Bengal MBBS merit list 2023
If two or more candidates secure the same rank in the West Bengal MBBS 2023 merit list following tie-breaking criteria of West Bengal MBBS/BDS merit list will be applicable:
- Firstly, candidate with higher marks in Biology will be given a higher rank.
- If the tie persists, then candidates having higher score in Chemistry will be at higher position in the merit list.
- Further, students with fewer negative attempts will be given more preference.
- Finally, candidates with higher age will be placed at a better position in the West Bengal MBBS 2023 merit list to resolve the tie.
