JEE Main 2020 Important Tips: 6 Important Tips for Candidates Appearing in JEE Main 2020 Exam Tomorrow: JEE Main 2020 exam has just arrived at your doors. National Testing Agency (NTA) is directing the exam for the time. However, it is expected that there will be new changes brought in JEE Main exam 2020. The online exam is scheduled to be held over a span of 5 days – 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12, January 2020. However, paper 2 will be conducted in one day only i.e., 08 January 2020. The JEE Main 2020 Admit Card has been issued, aspiring candidates who are going to appear in the exam tomorrow must get their admit card downloaded from the official website i.e., jeemain.nic.in. Moreover, a printed copy of the admit card is to be taken at the exam centres. #1 Time: Be careful enough to reach the Test Centre at least 30 min before the exam to keep yourself well- aware. Reaching the exam centre before time helps you to know the pre-exam instructions.
#2 Carry Admit Card with an extra photograph and Original ID proof: NTA has instructed to the candidates to carry the hard copy of their admit card with a passport size photograph (same as the one uploaded on the application form) with them. Along with, valid ID proof is a mandate for verification purposes. Carry any one of these – Aadhaar card/PAN card/Voter’s ID Card/Ration Card/Driving License/School Id card etc.
#3 Candidates appearing in Paper 2 can carry these items: All the JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 aspirants are allowed to carry geometry box, pencil, eraser, and colours (except for watercolours). Apart from these, there is no exception for paper 2 appearing candidates.
#4 Strict frisking process at the exam centres: Make sure you are not carrying any restricted items such as chit papers, electronic devices, smart watches, mobile phones, gadgets, calculators, stationery items etc. As strict frisking will be done by the instructors.
#5 Nationwide general strike on 08 and 09 January 2020:
A two-day nationwide strike has been called by the central trade union on 08 and 09 January 2020. There is no word of rescheduling of the JEE Main 2020 exam or the strike. The transport is said to remain affected on these days. Thus, the candidates are requested to arrange for their travel accordingly for the exam centres.
#6 JEE Main 2020 exam centres will have Jammers: 1 jammer will be installed for every 24 candidates at the JEE main 2020 exam centres. However, last year many complains were made on candidates using devices to cheat at the centres. Similarly, NTA has come up with this solution to dismiss the use of internet-based devices at the centres for cheating.
The next JEE Main 2020 exam will be held in the month of April 2020. National Testing Agency (NTA) is the newly formed body that is now responsible to conduct the JEE Main exam twice a year and in online mode only.
