Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is a State Level Engineering Entrance Examination for offering admissions to the candidates under Four-Year Degree Programs in Engineering / Technology (B. Tech.). Moreover, every year, The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of the Maharashtra State conducts this examination. The candidates applying for the examination must possess the Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State. There is an All India Quota in some of the colleges of Maharashtra State. These seats are Unreserved seats, i.e., all the candidates applying through All India Quota come under Open Category. This quota is just 10% – 15% of the total available seats. There is no negative marking in the examination. After the examination, candidates will fill the preference form. Then, candidates will get seats through counseling which will be available online. Candidates who will get seats will have to report at any of the ARCs for further processes.
