CFA Investment Foundation Certification Application form

Since there is no application form, applicants have to register themselves at the official website of the CFA Institute. Candidates can register themselves by creating an account. The candidates will be asked the following details for creating an ID, which are:

Application Fee

The certification course is free of cost and is available everyone worldwide. The candidate has to simply register themselves and access the learning ecosystem and appear in the exam. Since all the procedure is Online, so an Internet connection is must be needed.

Eligibility Criteria for CFA Foundation Course

To pursue the CFA Foundation course, there is no education or experience requirement. Once the candidate is registered for the program, they must meet the following in order to unlock the final exam:

• Wait 30 days from the time of registration.
• Achieve 70% or better on Mock Exam A.
• Achieve 70% or better on Mock Exam B.

Exam Pattern of CFA Investment Foundation Certification Course

• Applicants can register twice in an academic year, attempting the examination twice each registration. The aspirants have 4 chances in an academic year to earn the certificate.
• Candidates need to create an account with CFA Institute and register for the program through our website. Upon completing registration, candidates will get access to the Learning Ecosystem and all study materials through our Candidate Resources section on our website.
• Candidates once registered can access learning ecosystem and prepare for the exam.
• Also, the print curriculum can be purchased through Amazon CreateSpace for preparation of Exam. Applicants can find Volume 1 here, and Volume 2 here.
• The examination will contain a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions which needs to be completed in 100 minutes.

CFA Foundation Certification Result

The applicant will receive a preliminary on‐screen exam result immediately after you complete your exam. CFA Institute will notify you when your official exam results are available. Also, the aspiring candidates will be able to access their exam results on the CFA Institute website.
