• DIT University won the National Employability Award 2016

• DIT University is recognized among top 10% campuses in Uttarakhand (in terms of employability)

• In “The Survivor” – A management cum leadership event which was conducted by USP, Sandeep Chaudhary, a student of DITU bagged the second (2^nd) Prize out of the huge number of 1700 participants. This event was held over a span of 2 days and it comprised of total 7 rounds.

• DIT University also secured the 2nd position in Grand Finale of “Afro carnival” in 2014 which is a national level multi-disciplinary training program cum competition on our unmanned systems of technology and of model rocketry which was held at IISC, Bangalore.

The University provides “Shri Naveen Agarwal Memorial Scholarship”s to all meritorious & deserving students who has performed well in the examination but are economically backward, as a token of the recognition of their performance at their entry level at DITU.

Research At a Glance

The university got its status as University in 2013. Since then, the development in the field of research works at DITU has increased manifolds over the years. The progress in different research programs at DITU are as follows:

• The Ph.D. program started with five full-time students of DITU.

• In 2014, 34 more students got registered.

• Presently 68 students are registered for the Ph.D. program at DIT University.

• Till now, 50 students have successfully completed their Ph.D. work.

• More than 300 research papers have already been published in various high impact journals.

• The research scholars here are offered fellowships as well as teaching assistantships to support themselves properly.

• In the academic year of 2015-16, 24 fully funded researching projects are running across DITU in various streams of physics and other engineering disciplines like Electronics and Communication Engg. ie ECE, Mechanical Engg./ME, Electrical Engg./EE, Computer Science Engg or CSE, Information Technology( IT) and Pharmacy.

• Around 15 high-end Conferences, symposia and workshops have been organized by different departments of DITU.
