The foundation stone of the Integral University was laid in 1993 by the great leader and educator of the country, Hazrat Maulana Syed Abul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadvi and since then, till now has been quite a short period of time but the university has successfully established its roots and now comes within some of the best universities.

Just as the quantum of human knowledge kept on growing, a need of the formal education system was felt as a result of which, learning centers were established. The set-up of Integral University as a center where people could learn was a small step in the direction of achievement of the vision of the university which was to empower people by providing them with the quality education.

The candidates will get selected on the basis of their merit score in the entrance examination and the ones selected will have their name displayed on the on either the notice board or the website of the university and will be called for counseling. A letter too will be sent to the selected candidates so as to confirm the date of counseling where the admission formalities can be completed
The final selection will be based on the counseling and the NRI seats or the seats which are left over will be filled on the basis of merit scored by the student in the qualifying examination
For the students who cannot afford their education at the institute is offered scholarship programs through the government so that no student misses out on opportunities in the absence of money. These scholarship schemes namely are central government merit cum means scholarship, IDB scholarship interest-free loan, UGC scholarship, Ishan Uday for the north-eastern region and much more.

These graduates must also have the ability to pursue an education lifelong so as to keep him updated about the care and cure based on the evidence and also has the capability to work in communities with different settings where professionalism and ethics of higher standards persist and can help in contributing in facing the needs of healthcare of the people being served. Another mission of the university is to carry out research and projects of supreme quality on the educational problems being faced and also to collect statistics to develop the information.

UGC has approved the Integral University under the UGC act, 1956.
The university has also received approval from the Medical Council of India
Pharmacy council of India has recognized the university too
The university has been recognized by the Council of Architecture.
The Integral University has been accredited by the national council for teacher education and UP state medical faculty.
Indian association of physiotherapist and DEB has also approved the university.
The university is among the members of the AIU.
The Integral University has also received accreditation from NAAC.
The courses which are offered by the university have been accredited by the national board of accreditation.
Professor S.W. Akhtar received the Aligarh movement award in 2010.
Professor S.W. Akhtar was awarded U.P Rattan award.
Young scientist award in 2011 was bagged by the assistant professor, Mohammad Haris Siddiqui.
Integral University – Course Overview
Diploma in Civil Engineering for the duration of years with the eligibility criteria that the student must have passed 10th from a recognized board and the fee is Rs. 50,000.
Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering for the duration of 3 years and the eligibility criteria being that the student must have passed 10th from a recognized board and the fee is Rs. 40,000.
Diploma in Electrical engineering for the duration of 3 years and the eligibility criteria being that the student must have passed 10th from a recognized board and the fee is Rs. 50,000.
Diploma in Architecture engineering for the duration of 3 years and the eligibility criteria being that the student must have passed 10th from a recognized board and the fee is Rs. 45,000.
Diploma in Optometry for the duration of 2 years with the eligibility criteria being 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and one out of Biology and Mathematics.
B.Tech in Biotechnology for the duration of 4 years with the eligibility criteria being 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and one of Biology/Mathematics with 45% marks and the fee is Rs. 1,25,000.
BCA for the duration of 3 years with eligibility criteria being 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university and the fee is Rs. 60,000
B.Com (Hons.) for the duration of 3 years with the eligibility criteria being 10+3 with Commerce or Mathematics with 50% marks from a recognized board and the fee is Rs. 40,000.
Integral University – Research At a Glance
The Integral University has an intellectual property rights management cell and an institutional biosafety committee which have both been set up under the directorate of planning and research
There is also a software development cell which has been established and comprises of faculties and has projects namely-
Projects completed: student management information system, employee management system, university websites, faculty appraisal system and much more.
Projects in process: planning and automation system, website administrator panel, IIR, university mobile application and much more.
Projects upcoming: student attendance system for IIMS&R and student marks system update for the department of pharmacy.
A journal of management also has been published by the university which serves as a bridge between the scholarly and practical aspects.
