JEE Main is conducted by National Test Agency(NTA). It is a national level exam conducted every year in the month of January and April. It offers admission in B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Plan courses. The exam for April session will be held on 05, 07, 08, 09, 11 April 2020. The JEE Main April Exam is extended. Candidates who are preparing for the JEE Main exam will be aware of the fact that only a few days are left for the exam. So, they must focus on the most important chapters for JEE Mains 2020 or JEE Mains 2023. Candidate should start doing the smart work rather than hard work. Before starting, candidates must know that the NTA does not allocate any weightage to any chapter. For NTA, all chapters are important. Candidates who are preparing the JEE Mains 2020 are advised to go through the JEE main 2023 Syllabus and prepare for the whole syllabus. But candidates who are in the last nap of their preparation read this article.
The JEE Main 2023 is being conducted in multiple Sessions (February/March/April/May 2023). Check Detailed Information Here > JEE Main 2023

Check the Subject wise Important Chapters from Below:
PHYSICS
The important chapters of physics to study for JEE Mains is given below:
- Dimensional Analysis
- Electrostatics
- Gravitation
- Current Electricity
- Electromagnetic Induction
- Heat Transfer
- Waves & Sound
- Geometrical Optics
- Thermodynamics
- Kinetic Theory of Gases
- Rotational Dynamics
MATHEMATICS
The details of the important chapters of mathematics are given below:
- There is a fair distribution for all the chapters in mathematics in JEE Main.
- There is almost one question each chapter. So, candidates should study all chapters with equal concentration.
- Mathematics can easily be mastered by constant practice.
CHEMISTRY
The important chapters of chemistry are given below:
- Chemical Bonding
- Periodic table
- Carbonyl Compounds and their derivatives
- Solid-state, solutions and gases theory
- Redox reactions, Mole Concept and the concept of equivalents
- Thermochemistry and the Second Law of Thermodynamics
Chemistry syllabus is divided into three types-organic, physical, inorganic chemistry.
Some questions in chemistry involve calculations, others are analysis and inference based.
Given below are some general questions that come in the candidate’s mind:
Should I only study the chapters with more weightage?
No. If candidates have less time to prepare for the JEE Mains exam then he/she should study the theory of all chapters that are in syllabus and solve more questions of these topics which are marked as more important as per the analysis.
Can I clear JEE Mains by studying only the topics given in most important chapters for JEE Mains?
To score good marks in the JEE Mains exam requires high concentration and hard work. It also depends on the preparation for the exam. If a candidate has been studying consistently and focusing on the most important chapters then there is no chance of losing the opportunity to score good marks in the exam.
