Motherhood University (MU), Roorkee is promoted by the Motherhood Institute of Management & Technology Society, commonly known as MIMTS. This Society was established with the sole objective of providing education and research training to the youth generation of Uttarakhand as well as the entire country to increase employability throughout. Other objectives of this Society also include establishing orphanages, old age homes, clinics, charitable hospitals and other means of social welfare.

Research At a Glance
The University publishes the quarterly Motherhood International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research & Development international open access journal where extended full-length innovations and research work papers are published which have a scope to address some of the current issues of our society in the fields of education and social welfare. The University has always put an effort to carry out several research works and the journal seeks the scholarly manuscripts of such work that can address some of the aspects and disciplines of multidisciplinary areas of life like educational sciences, humanities, science and technology with all their interfaces. This journal always publishes various basic, applied as well as methodologically oriented papers on various research work from all the areas of knowledge. The journal also publishes some original papers on the current research works, interactive sessions and practical programs or short notes, book reviews, news items, meeting reports, professional announcements and so on.
