NEET 2 paper leaked for 2016 session

NEET 2 paper has been leaked: after the capture of three people regarding the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2 paper leak, the Uttarakhand High Court has looked for an answer from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and approached the Nainital police for a status report, as indicated by news reports in AVB and News 24. The CBSE has been given a period of two weeks for the same.

September 5, 2016, has been set as the date for the hearing of the matter by the court.

The NEET phase 1 examination had been delayed on May 1, while the NEET phase 2 exam was held on July 24 this year.

The CBSE, however, has negated cases of the leaked paper, as the Board has said that the question paper which was leaked is not the same as the paper given to competitors before the examination, as indicated by news reporters.

On August 17, the CBSE has issued the combined result of the NEET examinations. As indicated by the official report, the CBSE has expressed that the tried leak depended on false assurance to competitors of getting them qualified in the exam by certain untrusty elements.

The three guilty convicts were captured from Ramnagar in Uttarakhand in association with the leak of the NEET phase 2 paper. As per NEWS journalists, the convicts are accused of taking cash from 46 NEET students and giving them the question paper with answers. The report states that the police found that the blamed accused were charging the competitors anyplace between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh for the papers.

After convicts captured, Anshul Sharma a NEET student from Rajasthan had filed a plea in the Uttarakhand High Court expressing that the matter is looked into thoroughly and that the CBSE NEET part 2 examination should be cancelled”, stated by the NDTV news.
