Northcap University Admission Procedure (formerly called ITM University):

Candidates who wish to apply for admission in B.Tech Courses in NCU should first check their minimum eligibility criteria carefully. The NorthCap University admission process will be starting in June 2020. Application form for exam will available from first week of May 2020. They will have to qualify JEE Main 2020. Once the registrations are open on the official website of NCU, candidates can fill the online application form and make the payment of Rs 1000.

  • Candidates will have to upload the self-attested copy of the documents mentioned in the Application form. Once the form is submitted online, the candidate will receive a confirmation mail.
  • Candidates can also request an application form via post, fill all the required details and submit along with the bank demand draft of Rs. 1000 and the required documents.
  • Documents required will be class 10th Mars sheet, class 12th Mark sheet and JEE Main 2020 Score Card.
  • In the Application Form, candidates will have to fill their branch preferences as well. They are advised to do the same carefully.
  • Once the last date to submit the Application form is over, a merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in JEE Main 2020 and Class 12th. Candidates who will be selected will have to submit the admission fees before the specified last date. Failing this, his/her admission will be withdrawn.
  • Students will be automatically upgraded to their higher preferences in the subsequent merit lists. If they want to opt out of the Upgradation procedure, they will have to state the same to NCU.
  • Final Round will be physical counselling for the vacant and dropped out seats, for which the candidates will have to submit the application form and fees again.

NEET 2018: Application Form, Pattern, Syllabus & Exam Dates

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), one of the upper echelon body of the GOI (government of India) conducts NEET exam on a regular yearly basis. NEET 2018 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a combined entrance test for medical and dental both colleges as well. Every year the aspirants in order to be a doctor or dentist and grab a degree such as MBBS/BDS, they appear in NEET. To qualify this exam is alike proving one milestone in the field of medical and dental as well. CBSE will be going to conduct National level exam NEET 2018 (UG) on 10th May 2018. The NEET official notification will be released in 2nd week of December 2017.

NEET 2018 Application Form

Details of the application form are elucidated below:

  1. The student has to visit the main site of the NEET 2018 and fill the application form in online mode only.
  2. First of all the aspirants have to register themselves by providing the email id and date of birth.
  3. Then have to proceed towards elucidating information such as personal details which include- name, address, phone number, description of 10th & 12th board etc.
  4. And then have to upload the scanned photographs and signatures as well. But that should be in particular dimensions only.
  5. After the completion of these two steps, next step will be making the payment.
  6. Mode of payments can be either online or offline such as DD(demand draft).
  7. Only after completing the payment one can take the print out of the confirmation page. And the student needs to keep it safe for the future reference. And it should not be spoiled also.

Application Fee details are as follows:

  • For general and OBC category students, the fee is Rs.1400 and for SC/ST and PwD, it is Rs. 750 only.
  • One can do the payment via two gateways- online and offline modes.
  • To go into online mode, payment making should be via net banking, debit or credit card.
  • For offline mode, there are various ways such as e-challan, demand draft(DD) only.

NEET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission into MBBS and BDS colleges pan India.

  • The candidate should be an Indian Citizen or overseas citizen of India(OCI) i.e Indian Citizen dwelling outside the country.
  • According to the CBSE norms, the candidate residing in the state such as J&K/AP/Telangana will receive the 15% quota as per the GOI norms.
  • It is mandatory for the student to have Aadhar card. As Aadhar number is very much crucial to mention in order to register for NEET 2018 examination.
  • In order to appear in NEET, one should have taken Physics, Chemistry and biology/biotechnology as the main subject along with the English as the mandatory language.
  • And the person should have acquired at least 50% marks in the 12th Board or its equivalent and 45% for SC/ST and PwD candidates.

Age limit: Recently the government has set a cap on age limit by making the upper age limit to appear in the national level exam NEET as 25 years. And for SC/ST and PwD, it will be 30 years of age as the upper age limit to apply for this exam.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET) Pattern:

The exam shall conduct in offline mode only i.e pen & paper-based. There will be 180 questions and for that, a student will get 3 hours to complete the test. There will be four (04) sections comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany. And each section will have 45 questions each with +4 marks for each right answer and -1 marks for every wrong answer. There will be multiple sets and the question paper will be available in 10 languages. All the questions will have four options. Thus the exam will be entirely objective only.

Syllabus For National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2018:

The medical council of India has the right to set the syllabus for NEET exam. Looking over the syllabi of various boards it set the question paper accordingly. This panel set the paper based on 11th and 12th topics. If one thoroughly studies and go through NCERT Syllabus and making the concept clear with the help of other imperative reference books.  Eligibility criteria: 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC) in related discipline.

Scholarships:

The University provides a scholarship to the students on the basis of the marks they score as a result of which fee waiver is given which is different for different programs. A student who scores between 90%-100% in B.Tech will be given a fee waiver of 60%, a student who scores between 75%-100% in integrated law, BBA/B.Com/B.Sc/BA, MCA Lateral gets a fee waiver of 35% and so forth. However, the student needs to maintain a CGPA of 8 in the subsequent semesters as well without any compartment and a minimum of 75% attendance in every subject. Relaxation in fee is also provided to high achievers in sports and children of army personnel who have been killed in the war/physically handicapped. It varies from case to case.

Recently University Grants Commission (UGC) published a list of 123 deemed to be university and restrict them from using the word “University”. The higher education authority asked these 123 Deemed-to-be-Universities to drop the word “University” from their names. The letter was giving reference to Supreme court order dated 03 November 2017 and asked Deemed-to-be universities to drop the word University within one month of the court order as it is also a violation of Section 23 of UGC act.

National Testing Agency will conduct JEE Main & NEET 2019

National Testing Agency Launched: Prime Minister Narendra Modi headed the Union Cabinet meeting on Friday cleared a proposal for the making of a National Testing Agency (NTA). The role of NTA will be to conduct eligibility tests or entrance exams for Higher Education. most preferably the National Testing Agency is supposed to replace the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and others examination bodies from the responsibility of conducting the entrance examinations.

Prakash Javadekar (Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India.) said on Twitter:

NTA a one-time grant of Rs 25 crores

As per reports, NTA will be funded by the Central Government. The central government will provide Rs 25 crores as a one-time grant to start its operation. This grant is for the establishment of the agency and for the first year operational cost and further, it should be self-sustainable.



Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE

National Testing Agency (NTA) Examination Module

  1. The NTA will conduct these entrance examinations in online mode.
  2. The online examination will be conducted twice a year.
  3. For rural candidates, sub-district & district level centres will be established.
  4. Also, Rural candidates will get hands-on training for online exams.
  5. The NTA will be formed by eminent educationist appointed by Human Resources Development Ministry.
  6. The government of India will appoint CEO of the agency who will act as Director-General.
  7. A Board of Governors comprising members from user institutions will be constituted.
  8. The Director-General of National Testing Agency will be assisted by academicians and experts (heads) of nine verticals.

Basis of Swachhata Rankings: Cleanest Government Institution

An invitation was floated by Ministry and about 3500 Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) submitted an online application along with all the required details as per format. After that as per criteria, 174 institutions were shortlisted. Whereas officials from UGC and AICTE inspected these of all 174 campuses.

Parameters of Selection

The Parameters for a clean campus were formulated & on the basis of cleanliness and hygiene were inspected. The criteria are described below:

  1. Student/toilet ratio,
  2. Kitchen Hygienic Status,
  3. Availability of running water & water supply systems.
  4. The modernity of toilet & kitchen equipment,
  5. campus green cover,
  6. garbage disposal in hostels and academic buildings
  7. disposal techniques, and also a certain weightage to whether the institutions
  8. Weightage were also given on “spreading awareness & activities about Swachhta in any neighboring locality or village.

SGT University Admission 2020: Application Form

SGT University Admission 2020 application form will be available in the month of December 2019. Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University also called as SGT University is situated in the State of Haryana, on the outskirts of the area called as the Chandu- Bhudera. It is established under the Haryana Private Universities Act and is regulated as per the regulations of the Act. It is spread on a 60 acres land which has beautiful landscape and greenery around it. Apart from the regular lectures, the university also conducts various competitions, games, study tours, a celebration of festivals and events, picnics, Cultural activities, music, art and theater and also many informative seminars, conferences and guest lectures.

The students who are from the other cities have nice and comfortable hostels for boys as well as girls. The campus is full of facilities like- good drinking water, good ambient classrooms, bank and ATM facilities, cafés, eateries and canteen, playground, hygienic toilets etc. all these facilities are provided in order to ensure the comfortable and efficient learning of the students.

SGT University 2020 Admission Procedure

The candidates must first fill the application form online. The applicant needs to follow the following steps to complete the registration, application process and the admission process.

  • Proceed the payment process.

  • Wait for the merit list and the counselling notice.

The counselling day and date will be announced by the university once all the online applications are received by the university. Every candidate will be selected and called for counselling in a different time and day slots.

Counselling Process The Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University

The candidates will have to attend the counselling session by themselves. They cannot send their representatives to this process.

The counselling includes the document verification, personal interview and the allocation of seats.

The candidates must present all the required documents as stated in the information brochure of the institute. Along with the document verification, the eligibility of the candidates will also be checked. The eligibility mainly includes the minimum required a percent of marks in the HSC and SSC examinations and also the graduation marks if the candidates are opting for any post-graduation courses.

Once the student acquires the seat, must proceed further to pay the admission fees for the course. The counselling process will stop as soon as all the seats left vacant. The following documents are necessary to bring by all the students.
