But from 2020 Delhi Technological University will not conduct any kind of admission test of its own. And it will admit the students on the basis of their JEE Main 2020 scores. Therefore DTU 2020 Paper Pattern will give the candidates an elaborate knowledge about JEE Main 2020 Paper Pattern based on which they can take admission to Delhi Technological University.

JEE Main 2020 Paper will contain questions from physics chemistry and mathematics (PCM). It contains 90  multiple choice questions(MCQ). For this MCQ, equivalent weightage is given to all the subjects are. From each of the subjects, 30 answers will be asked.

The JEE Main 2020 exam pattern has a sum total of 90 objective type questions, equally divided for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths ie 30 for each subject and there isn’t any kind of adjustment in this paper pattern of this exam till date.

The Paper comprises of aggregate 90 questions per subject adding up to 360 marks and students must take note that negative marking is there in it. Each question gives +4 marks for right response and for every wrong answer 1/4 of allocated marks to that question will be deducted from the total score.

DTU 2020 Registration Process will be released by Delhi Technological University/Joint Admission Counselling. Admissions to Delhi Technological University/ DTU  is solely based on JEE Main 2020 marks. Delhi Centralised Counselling for admission to (B.E. / B.Tech.) and B.Arch. courses of 04 important technical universities/institutes of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. DTU 2020 Registration Process

The opening of ONLINE Fee submission, Registration and Choice Filling(Tentative) is 6 June 2020.

  1. Candidates must visit the official website.
  2. Then they must register and get their user ID &Password.
  3. Then they will have to fill up all the mandatory fields with information that are asked for.
  4. Lastly, candidates must upload the required scanned images and submit the completed form proceeding towards fee payment.

Delhi University Engineering Admission is based on JEE Main 2020 score. So, it essential for each DU aspirant to apply and appear for JEE Main and score well. Also, candidates must have the proper knowledge of the paper pattern of the entrance exam to score well in it. Moreover, DU Engineering 2020 Paper pattern is the same as that for JEE Main. Hence, the candidates must go through the exam pattern to get a clear idea ahead of exam preparation.

Further, as the qualifying examination for admissions in Delhi University Engineering Courses is JEE Main 2020. So, The DU engineering 2020 paper pattern is same as JEE Main 2020.

But, JEE Main 2020 examination will be held in mainly two parts called paper 1 and paper 2. So, JEE Main Paper 1 is for BE/B. Tech aspirants and Paper 2 is architecture aspirants. However, candidates can appear for both paper 1 and paper 2.

Moreover, Paper 1 consists of a total of 90 questions with 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and, Maths. Also, a student will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answers and 1 marks will be deducted from the marks obtained from the correct answers.

But, no marks will be awarded or deducted if the candidate leaves a question un-attempted. So the student must be very careful in marking their answer choices.

Paper 2 Exam Pattern

Firstly, Paper 2 consists of 82 questions. Also, Every Question will convey 4 marks for every correct choice and two drawing questions contain a total of 70 marks. But, for each incorrect answer, 1/4 of the scored marks allocated will be deducted from the total score. Further, exam time is only 3 hours for both the papers.

How to sum up the score for JEE Main Answer Key?

  1. Access the right section for the answer key of JEE Mains online answer booklet.
  2. Verify answers as per key serial number.
  3. Add 4 (four) marks for one right answer.
  4. Subtract ¼ marks for one wrong answer.

 Procedure for answer Key challenge:

If an applicant is not satisfied by any of the answers published in the answer key by NTA then he/she can submit for an answer key challenge from 18 – 24 April 2020 by filling an online application form and paying Rs.1000 (by credit/debit card/e-challan) per question.

Rechecking of answers will be acknowledged up to a given period of time. However, the decisions made by the Joint Admission Board/CBSE regarding these challenges submitted by the students will be the final one and no further responses will be entertained regarding any answer after that.
