COMEDK UGET 2020 Result will be announced in the month of May 2020. Before the announcement of COMEDK UGET Result 2020, the Institute will release two sets of answer keys that are provisional answer key that is released in mid of May 2020 and a final answer key that is released on 4th week of May 2020. COMEDK UGET 2020 Result

Candidates can check the answer keys to determine their final result before its announcement. Once the final result is announced, the candidate can visit the official website of COMEDK and enter his/her login user ID and password to download the result. Also, an official notification regarding the release of COMEDK UGET results to the candidates through the email and mobile. It is to be noted by the candidates that there will be no scorecard sent to their address by mail/courier/post. They have to visit the website and download the scorecard. The final merit list is prepared using the scores of the candidates and this list will be used to qualify the candidates for the counselling process. However, in the case of ties, the following method will be used to resolve them:

For medical and dental course candidates:

  •  The candidate with least number if wrong answers will be given higher rank. Also, the marks in biology in UGET 2020 can be taken to give a higher score. In the case of the elder candidate, he/she is given a higher score.

For engineering course candidates:

  • The candidate with least number if wrong answers will be given higher rank. Even if the tie is not resolved, then the marks in Mathematics of UGET 2020 can be taken as the basis to judge the ranks of candidates in COMEDK UGET 2020 result. In the case of the elder candidate, he/she is given a higher score.

COMEDK UGET 2020 is a Karnataka state level entrance exam/admission test conducted by the COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental of Karnataka). For admission into the UG courses in the field of medical, dental and engineering offered by the affiliated colleges of Karnataka. Its Merit-based admissions through a single common entrance test followed by centralised counselling as envisaged.

From 2019, this entrance exam/test will be conducted only for admission in the Engineering & Architecture courses, i.e. B.Tech and B.Arch., Whereas NATA is compulsory for B.Arch. Admission.

COMEDK UGET 2020 Application

For admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture courses, COMEDK 2020 will be Under Graduate Entrance Test 2020 (UGET – 2020) for admission 2020-2021.

COMEDK UGET will be an online computer-based test and will be conducted at a number of centres across India to help the students to take the test closer to their hometowns and this will minimise the cost of travelling and other logistics engaged.

COMEDK UGET & Uni-GAUGE E 2020 Engineering Entrance Exam 2020 will be held in the month of May 2020.

COMEDK UGET Application Form

The COMEDK UGET Application Form 2020 will be announced in February 2020 on the official website.

Students interested in COMEDK should fill the online application form; following the instructions carefully adhere to the information brochure available. After the successful registration candidates will receive a User Id and password on their registered email ID.

Application Fee

Candidate with PCM will have to pay Non-Refundable application fee to be Rs 1200/-, to participate in COMEDK UGET https://www.comedk.org/

Payment Methods

Two Methods are available Online and Offline/Manual is given below:

Online Payment – The payment for the application can take place via various online payments i.e. net banking, credit card or debit card.

Offline Payment – The payment for the application form via bank challan of Axis bank branches.

Note: Candidate needs to take the printout of the filled-in application form. And attest it by the gazetted officer or Principal of the School where he/she studied last. The printed copy of the form must be bought at the time of counselling.

COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria

  • The eligibility criteria for 2020 COMEDK UGET for engineering and architecture are as follows
  • For B.Tech/B.E. (Engineering Courses):
  • Candidate should have passed the 10+2 Board as qualifying examination from a recognised Central (CBSE)/state board with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and English subject.
  • 45 Percentage of aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for candidates belonging to general category and 40 Percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Karnataka.
  • Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects with an optional subject like Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics.
  • There is no lateral entry so the 3 years Diploma holders are not eligible to fill the application form for COMEDK UGET.

For B.Arch. (Architecture Courses):

  • Candidate should have passed the 10+2 Board as qualifying examination from a recognised Central (CBSE)/state Board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • The candidates who have passed their qualifying examination in the pattern of 10+3 (Diploma holders) with at least 50 Percentage of aggregate marks and 40 Percent for SC/ST/OBC students) are also eligible to apply for architecture courses.
  • The admission in Architecture course will be done on the basis of NATA score.
  • Minimum marks for eligibility candidate need to score of 80 out of 200 in NATA test for admission in Architecture.
  • Students looking for admission in B.Arch. should submit a separate application form available.

Admit Card COMEDK

  • Online Test Admission Ticket (TAT) will get upload in the consortium official website in May 2020. The candidates must download and bring the admit card online for appearing the test.
  •  The Institute will not send the TAT (Test Admission Ticket) to the candidates via post or email.
  • Candidates should keep the Admit Card safe until the end of the admission process.

  • The COMEDK UGET 2020 examination will be in English medium only.
  • Objective type questions with one mark for each correct answer.
  • Syllabus for entrance test is based on 12th/2nd PUC.

The process of COMEDK UGET 2020 Counselling requires the candidate to register on the website and to check the schedule available according to them. The first round of COMEDK UGET 2020 counselling process will be started from 16 July 2020 after the final answer key and the scorecard released.

For taking part in the counselling process candidate needs to download a COMEDK counselling merit card that is available on the official website of COMEDK. After registering for the process there are a number of rounds of counselling that the candidates will attend in order to take admission in the desired college.

There will be a total number of 2 rounds for which the selected candidate needs to attend only one of it. The selection of the candidate is done on the basis of the merit list. And the merit list & Scorecards will be available online to the candidates on 28 May 2020.

Procedure to Follow for COMEDK UGET Counselling 2020

The following steps must for the counselling process is summarised as mentioned below:

  • The candidates who are selected will be called according to the sessions scheduled by COMEDK.
  • Then the documents will be verified.
  • After this, the registration process will start which includes candidate’s biometric, signature and photo.
  • A registration slip will be issued to the candidates after registration is completed.

In case if a candidate is having any issues with the COMEDK Provisional answer key, then they can challenge the answer key by following these steps:

  • Candidate must log in using his/her ID and password and fill in the query asked in the challenge form that is provided online.
  • The application fee of Rs. 500/- per clarification must be paid online along with the filled form.
  • The amount will be refunded in case the clarification is valid and proven to be true.

Goa Common Entrance Test which is commonly known as the GCET is conducted every year in the State of Goa. And, it is organized by DTE i.e. Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa. DTE Goa will release the GCET 2020 Notification on the official web portal on 4th week of March 2020. Therefore, the candidates should regularly keep visiting the official website for updates about GOA CET 2020.

The GCET exam dates will be declared through a notification by DTE in December 2019. And, the exam will be held on 07 – 08 May 2020. Furthermore, DTE will soon declare the other important dates related to the Goa Common Entrance Test(GCET).

Candidates can fill the application form of GCET 2020 till 30 March. And, the admit card will be available from Last week of April 2020. The candidates can download the respective admit cards online. And, the GCET result will be published on 15 May 2020. Further, the counselling session will start on Mid of May 2020.

Tech programs on the basis of the JEE Main 2020 Merit Ranks only. And, Students should carefully observe the paper pattern of JEE Main which is equivalent to the DAIICT 2020 paper pattern as well. JEE Main Exam Paper

So, candidates must understand that JEE Main exam paper will have a sum total of 90 objective type multiple choice questions, which will be equally divided for Physics, Chemistry and Maths. So 30 marks will be allotted for each of the subjects and there won’t be any kind of adjustments or changes in this paper pattern for this exam.

The question Paper comprises of aggregate 90 questions for each subject which add up to 360 marks and the candidates must take note that negative marking is present. Each of these questions gives +4 marks for a right response and for every wrong response 1/4 of the allocated marks for that question gets deducted from the total score of the exam. Knowing the entire paper pattern will help the students to prepare accordingly and perform fairly in DAIICT.
