The University will not organise any Entrance exam for admission to the Engineering programme in the state of Tamil Nadu. It takes into account the applicant’s 10+2 examination percentage. TNEA 2021 Application Form

The application form for TNEA 2021 will be available at the in the official website. Candidates can procure the form and fill in all the details. The application form will be available in the first week of May 2020. After filling the form online move ahead for submission procedure with the specific application form fee (i.e. Rs. 500/- for General and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST).

Aspirants should furnish all the details with complete authentication, in the application form. Candidates should fill all the details with utmost care as there may or may not be provisions for changes later.

6. Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate – If applicable

7. First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate) – If applicable

8. Srilankan Tamil Refugee certificate – If applicable

9. Relevant certificates for Son / Daughter of Ex-Serviceman, Son / Daughter of Freedom Fighter, Differently Abled Person and Eminent Sports Persons – If applicable.

How to fill the TNEA 2021 Application Form?

The application form for TNEA Exam 2021 can be filled online through the official website only. To fill in the forms, follow the steps.

  • Go to the official page or centre of TNEA to get the application forms.
  • Fill in the required details correctly and check them before submitting.
  • Online forms can be simply submitted by clicking the “submit” button.

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2021 Registration Fee

One can opt for Net Banking, but it not is mandatory to make payment online only. But, candidates may also pay the specified amount of registration fee via DD (demand draft). And it should be according to their social status through the method that is most convenient to them. The registration fee is also to be paid at the time after filling the registration form. Also, it should be authenticated as per the knowledge of the student. For the general and OBC category, the registration of Rs, 500. But, for PWD, SC/ST category, Rs. 250 is charged as an application fee. Payment will be possible both ways online and offline mode and the aspirants can choose the required option according to convenience.

TNEA 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for TNEA 2021, candidates must go through the given below eligibility criteria:

Nativity:

  • Candidates who passed their 12th level from schools located in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
  • Also the students who belong to other states and have completed their XII level from Tamil Nadu state can apply.
  • Candidates from outside Tamil Nadu need to show their Nativity Certificate only in the form of a digitally signed E-Certificate or Electronic Form.
  • Children of Central Government Employees are also eligible to apply.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Qualifying Exam: Applicants must have passed 12th level or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks (For OBC – 45%; For ST/ SC/ DNC/ MBC/ SCA – 40%).
  • Qualifying Subjects: in 12th level students must have passed with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects.

Marine Engineering Programme

  • Qualifying Exam: Applying student must have passed his/her 12th level exam or its equivalent
  • Qualifying Subjects and Marks : He/she must have passed his 10+2 level with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as main subjects with a minimum of 60% marks in PCM subjects & 50% marks in English subject.
  • Age Criteria: Applicant should be maximum 25 years in age.
