TS EAMCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria: Education Qualification

TS EAMCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the Application form otherwise the application form will be automatically rejected by the conducting authority. The vital information regarding the TS EAMCET eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

General Criteria

• Nationality
  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders are also eligible.
• Domicile
  • Candidate must be a Domicile of the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.

Criteria for B.Tech, Bio-Technology, B.Pharma, B.Sc.

• Age Limit:
  • For Engineering and pharmacy courses: The candidate must be of 16 yrs. or above at the time of admission.
  • For B.tech(Dairy Technology), Agricultural courses, B.tech(FT) and B.Sc(CA and BM): The candidate must be of minimum 17 years of age with a maximum of 22 years for general category and 25 years for reserved category.
• Education criteria:
  • For Engineering courses:
    • Candidate must have passed or at least appeared in class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects along with Biology/Chemistry/Biotechnology as an optional subject.
    • Candidates who have cleared or appearing in the diploma course in engineering or equivalent branch conducted by Telangana board are also eligible.
    • Candidates who have done any vocational course in engineering and technology under the Telangana state board are also eligible.
    • The candidate should have secured a minimum 45%(for the general category) and 40%(For SC/ST category).
  • For Pharmacy courses: 
    • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional, along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics
      conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
  • For Agricultural and medical courses:
    • Candidate should have passed the final year of intermediate examination or any examination recognized as equivalent to Intermediate Education of Telangana with any two/three subjects mentioned below:
