UPES Admission 2021 is ongoing for all programs. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies was established in 2003 through the UPES Act, 2003 of State Legislature of Uttarakhand. Having the ambition and unique approach towards education, UPES slowly emerged as an innovative educational institution. It focuses on offering mainly industry-focused specialised graduates, post graduates and doctoral programs.

The institute offers UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, Law, Design, Business, Health Science, and Modern Media. Programs offered are B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, B.Sc, B.Com, MBA, BPT, BCA, LLB, LLM, B.Des, M.Des, BA, MA, BBA, PhD, etc. Admission to the university is entrance-based. It also accepts various exam scores such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. Also, conducts its own entrance exams such as UPESEAT, ULSAT, UPESMET, etc. Candidates.

UPES Engineering Admission 2021 Courses and Eligibility Criteria

UPES offers full-time B.Tech in 33 specializations. The regular B.Tech. courses are offered in 16 specializations, the specialized courses in collaboration with IBM and XEBIA are offered in 13 and 3 specializations respectively.

How to Apply for UPES Admission 2021?

All students must download the official UPES Admission Brochure and UPES Information Bulletin first, in order to get all the relevant information regarding the admission criteria and procedure.

(Candidates must take note that their applications will get activated once the student complete his/her filling of the form. And also after making a certain payment as application fee. Then the University will dispatch the UPES prospectus to the students’ address.)

Instructions to complete the Online Application Process:

1. Candidates must click on the link mentioning their status: as Indian Resident or as Foreign Resident.

2. Then they must sign up in order to buy their Admission Prospectus.

3. Candidates must fill up the Sign-Up form then mentioning all the details and mention the program according to their desire.

4. Finally, they should click on the ‘Submit’ button.

5. After this, they will get an email (from UPES) on their email id as mentioned in their Sign Up Form and the student must click on the link given on that mail to verify the email ID and activate their UPES account.

6. Then they can proceed towards the Application Form fill up online and complete the process by paying the application fee by Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking.

After completing the entire submission process properly and successfully, the candidates must positively take a printout of their completed application form for any future reference.

UPES Admission 2021 Scholarships

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies also offers a specific number of scholarships in a few specific programs. As per the decision of the university administration the distribution of the scholarship takes place. These scholarships distribution will rely on the academic profile of a student. The wavering of the Tuition Fee in a partial/full manner are also for those who have the provision of scholarship.

The details of all scholarships will hold a place in the student’s bulletin. Scholarship provision will be during the registration process. However, students must remember that these Awards of Scholarships will entirely depend on UPES Committee. And, it will hold the right to take the final decision.

1. 25% concession on Tuition fee are for those who are:

Uttarakhand resident students (solely on merit-cum-means basis) subject to fulfilling the following conditions:

1.  For those whose Gross annual family income is less than 3 lakhs.

2. Those who possess a valid Uttarakhand domicile certificate.

3. Those who have passed class 10 and 12 level from Uttarakhand.

2. 100% Scholarship on Tuition Fee:

1. Students securing an aggregate of 85% in class 12 as well as 90% marks, in PCM.
