VITMEE 2021: Application Form (Released), Eligibility Criteria

VITMEE 2021 or VIT Master’s Entrance Examination application form has been released on and can be filled until 05 June for Master of Industrial Design/M.Tech/MCA and M.Sc admission.  The exam is organised by Vellore Institute of Technology for candidates seeking admission in Master’s Courses like M.C.A. and M.Tech. The exam is held at the University Level. Moreover, students apply for the examination for taking admission to the two campuses of VIT University (Vellore and Chennai). How to Fill the VITMEE 2021 Application Form?

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to fill the VITMEE application form.

• Firstly, the candidates need to fill the Online VITMEE 2021 Application Form through the official website – https://vit.ac.in/.
• The applicants need to upload a passport-sized photograph and signature.
• Also, take a print out of the application form and keep it safe for future reference and,
• There is no need to send the application form by post or any other offline method.

Important Notification: Candidates must provide a valid email ID in the application form. The e-Admit card will not be dispatched to candidates via post or fax.

VITMEE 2021 Application Fee

The details regarding the VITMEE application fee is given below:

• Candidates have to pay Rs. 1200/- as an application fee
• The fee once paid will not be refunded in any circumstances.

Mode of Payment: Applicants can make payment either through online mode as well as offline mode.

• Online mode:
  • Through net banking, Credit card or Debit cards.
• Offline mode:
  • Demand Draft mode- $50 for NRI candidates also, Send the hard copy of the application form along with the demand draft to the University.

VITMEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The details regarding the VITMEE 2021 eligibility criteria is given below:

• Nationality
  • An applicant must be a permanent resident of India and must have completed Graduation from a college that is situated in India.
  • Non-Residential India / Person of Indian Origin and Foreign candidates can also apply. These candidates will submit separate application forms.
• Qualification Criteria
  • Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech. must have passed B.E. / B. Tech.or equivalent from a recognised university with at least 60% or equivalent in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates who are appearing can also apply, provided they submit their passing certificate before 15 August 2020.
  • Candidates seeking admission in M.C.A. must have qualified B.C.A. / B. Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science) from a recognised University with at least 60% in the qualifying examination.
  • Also, the candidates should have passed their 10 + 2 or Graduation Level with Mathematics as a subject.
  • The candidates who are appearing can also apply, provided they produce their passing certificate before 15 August 2020.

• Exam Mode: The exam will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test).
• Question Type: The question paper will be consisting of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ).
• Number of Questions: 100 Questions will be asked in the examination.
• Exam Duration: The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
• Marking Scheme: One mark will be allotted to the candidates for the correct response.
• Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

VITMEE  2021 Admit Card

• The Admit Card will be released online in the month of June 2021
• Candidates can download the admit card from the official website.
• Information like Name of the candidate, Registration no., photograph, Signature, Postal Address, Date and Venue of Examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
• Candidates will have to enter the login id and password to view or download the VITMEE admit card.
• Candidates will need to bring the admit card to the examination hall otherwise will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

• Now, fill your ‘Application Number’ & ‘Date of Birth’.

• Enter your ten-digit Application number and Date of birth.
• Enter the verification code and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

VITMEE 2021 Counselling

The details regarding the VITMEE 2021 counselling is given below:

• From the third week of June 2021, The Authority will schedule the counselling procedure.
• The shortlisted candidates will have to attend the counselling session personally at the given time and date.
• Shortlisted candidates will have to submit the Non- Refundable counselling fee of Rs. 10,000/- and it will be adjusted in the tuition fee once the candidate joins the Institute.
• In case the candidate fails to pay the counselling fee, their names will be removed from the list.
