KIITEE 2020 or Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination will be conducted by Kalinga Institute of Technology, Bhuvneshwar (KIIT). The exam is organized Annually to offer admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes. It is a University level entrance test for the fields of engineering and technology, arts, nursing, architecture, computer applications and various other fields.

Admissions in MBBS, BDS, and PG Medical & PG Dental programmes will be done through national level test scores of NEET UG, NEET MDS and NEET PG. One thing which candidates need to know that there is no application fee for this exam. The candidates have to just simply fill the application form for appearing in the exam.

KIITEE 2020 Application Form

  • KIITEE 2020 Online registration process will start by the last week of November 2019.
  • The Application form will be available through online mode
  • The last date to register and submit the application form is till last week of March 2020.
  • The application process consists of various steps – Registration and filling the application, uploading the necessary documents and printing the application form.
  • The application form will be considered successfully submitted after the payment of the application fee.
  • Students must fill all the required details in the form carefully as no modification will be allowed later.
  • At the time of filling the application form, candidates must be ready with their photograph, scanned signature and class 10thmark sheet to be uploaded next.

KIITEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

KIITEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria is the most important thing which a candidate should know before applying for the exam. Without checking the criteria, the application would be rejected directly. So, the expected eligibility criteria for KIITEE 2020 is:

  • Candidates who have passed their 10+2 in 2018, 2019 or appearing in 10+2 in 2019 are eligible to apply for B.Tech course of the University.
  • Candidates should have studied regular full-time formal education in their schooling/college.
  • Candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics together.
  • For B.Tech & M.Tech, candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology together.
  • Candidates should have born after 01-07-19997.

KIITEE 2020 Admit Card

KIITEE 2020 Admit Card will be available for download from the first week of April 2020. If any candidate finds any discrepancy at the time of downloading the admit card, he/she must get the problem solved by contacting through the helpline numbers and helpline email id provided by the university.

Candidates have to preserve the admit card until the admission process is over. To download the admit card online, students have to enter their registered login credentials. No hard copy of the admit card will be dispatched to the students by offline mode. Students on the exam day must be present with the printed copy of the admit card and one valid photo id proof at the exam centre.

KIITEE 2020 Exam Pattern

KIITEE 2020 Exam pattern will vary as per the courses are chosen by the aspirants. They can check  below the complete details of the exam pattern before starting their preparation:

  • Exam Date: KIITEE 2020 Exam will be held in the fourth week of April 2020.
  • Mode of Exam: The test will be conducted in online
  • Language Medium: The language of the paper will be in English
  • Time Duration: The time duration of the exam will be of 3 hours.
  • Type of Questions: The exam paper will consist of multiple-choice questions only.
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, +4 marks will be given and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.

KIITEE 2020 Syllabus

Desirous aspirants should have the syllabus with them while they are preparing for the exam. KIITEE 2020 syllabus varies according to the courses chosen by the candidates. It consists of three main subjects/sections which are covered in class 12th as well. They are:

  1. Physics
  2. Chemistry
  3. Mathematics

Each section consists of 40 questions each carrying 4 marks and 1 mark for each wrong answer. Total 120 questions are there of 480 marks.  Let's go through the syllabus:

Physics

Units and Measurement, Description of Motion in Two and Three Dimensions, Work, Energy and Power, Description of Motion in One Dimension, Current Electricity, Waves, Electron and Photons, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Solids and Semi-Conductors Devices, etc.

Mathematics

Sets, Relations and Functions, Differential Calculus, Quadratic Equations, Complex Numbers, Differential Equations, Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion, Matrices and Determinants, Probability, Vector Algebra, Trigonometry, etc.

Chemistry

Some Basic Concepts, Chemical Energetic and Thermodynamics, Some Basic Principles, Chemistry of Lighter Metals, Synthetic and Natural Polymers, Chemistry of Lighter Metals, Atomic Structure, States of Matter, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, etc.

KIITEE 2020 Preparation Tips

KIITEE 2020 preparation tips to enhance the exam preparation and secure well in the entrance test, candidates must follow the below-given tips:

  • Candidates need to go through the topics thoroughly so that the entire syllabus gets covered before the exam.
  • Candidates can prepare short notes and go through them daily.
  • Don’t forget to revise.
  • Candidates can make a suitable time table for the preparation of the exam.
  • Take online or offline mock tests to enhance the speed and accuracy level frequently.

KIITEE 2020 Result

The KIITEE 2020 Result shall be declared after the exam has been conducted successfully. The result will be available in the form of a bank card. The students who shall attempt the KIITEE 2020 Paper will be able to download their rank card. They will have to enter their application number to check the result. It should be known that the rank card will be sent to the KIITEE 2020 qualified candidates on their respective mailing address through the postal services.

KIITEE 2020 Counselling

Counselling for KIITEE will commence from third week of May 2020. Candidates who manage to score marks above the cut-off score and qualifies will be called for the counselling and seat allotment process.

There are tentatively two rounds of KIITEE Counselling for which the candidates should appear on time. Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission offer letter containing the terms and conditions of the admission.
