BPEE CET 2022 Syllabus: For Physics, For Chemistry, For Mathematics

BPEE CET Syllabus- Along with the official brochure, the authorities would issue the subject-by-subject syllabus for JKCET 2022. Candidates are recommended to strictly follow the JKCET syllabus since it will provide them with direction in their preparation and will also save them time from having to catch up on irrelevant areas.

Syllabus for Physics

Physics is divided into 20 units, each with its own set of few subtopics. The physics syllabus is presented below.

Unit 1: Physical World & Measurement includes S.I. units, Fundamental and derived units. Accuracy
Unit 2: Kinematics includes Uniform and non-uniform motion, average speed and instantaneous velocity
Unit 3: Laws of Motion includes Newton’s First, Second and Third Law of motion,  Momentum, Impulse
Unit 4: Work, Energy, & Power includes kinetic energy, potential energy, Elastic and inelastic collisions
Unit 5: Motion of System of Particles & Rigid Body includes Concepts of vector product, Moment of inertia
Unit 6: Gravitation includes Gravitational potential, Escape velocity
Unit 7: Properties of Bulk Matter includes Elastic behavior, Stress-strain relationship, Heat transfer, Calorimetry
Unit 8: Thermodynamics includes Heat work and internal energy, Heat engines and refrigerators (concept only)  
Unit 9: Behaviour of Perfect Gas & Kinetic Theory includes Kinectic theory of gases, Degrees of freedom
Unit 10: Oscillations AND Waves includes Periodic motion, Energy in S.H.M
Unit 11: Electrostatics includes Electric Charge, Electric field, Electric potential
Unit 12: Current Electricity includes Drift velocity, Ohm’s law, Carbon resistors, Colour code
Unit 13: Magnetic Effects of Current & Magnetism includes Biot, Cylcotron
Unit 14: Electromagnetic Induction & Alt. Currents includes Electromagnetic induction, Self and mutual inductance, AC generators and transformer
Unit 15: Electromagnetic Waves includes Electromagnetic waves and their characteristics, transverse nature
Unit 16: Optics includes Ray Optics, Lens,  Brewster’s law
Unit 17: Dual Nature of Matter & Radiation includes Dual nature of radiation, Photoelectric  Lenard’s observations
Unit 18: Atoms & Nuclei includes Alpha-particle scattering experiment, Composition and size of nucleus, atomic masses, isotopes
Unit 19: Electronic Devices includes Quantitative ideas, characteristics, Logic gates
Unit 20: Communication System includes Bandwidth of signals, Need for modulation
Syllabus for Chemistry

Chemistry is divided into 20 parts, each with its own set of few subtopics. The chemistry syllabus is presented below.

Unit 1: Chemical Arithmetic & Atomic Structure includes Chemical reactions, Stoichiometry and it's calculations, Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, de-Broglie wave equation
Unit 2: Chemical Equilibrium includes Law of mass action, Ionic product of water. pH and pOH scales
Unit 3: Chemical Kinetics includes Rate of chemical reaction, Order and molecularity of reaction
Unit 4: Solutions includes Vapour pressure, Raoult’s law, Ideal and Non-ideal solutions
Unit 5: Chemical Thermodynamics includes Energy changes taking place during chemical reactions, Internal Energy and Enthalpy changes, Enthalpy of combustion
Unit 6: REDOX Reactions & Electrochemistry includes E.M.F. of Galvanic cell, Dependence of electrode and cell potential on concentration
Unit 7: Solid State & States of Matter includes Boyle’s Law, Charle’s law, Dalton’s law, Crystalline and amorphous solids
Unit 8: Surface Chemistry includes Freundlich Adsorption isotherm, Electrical properties 
Unit 9: Periodic Properties includes Classification of elements, Electron affinity, Electronegativity
Unit 10: Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure includes Types of chemical bonds, Ionic & covalent bonds, Bond parameters
Unit 11: Chemistry of Representative Elements includes Electron configuration, Oxidation states, and trends in various properties
Unit 12: Transition Elements includes Lanthanoides includes Electron configuration, Oxidation states, Colour
Unit 13: Co-ordination Chemistry includes Introduction, Ligands, Co-ordination Number
Unit 14: Nomenclature and Basic Concepts Inorganic Chemistry includes Nomenclature of organic compounds, types of organic reactions
Unit 15: Hydrocarbons includes Structural isomerism, origin of chirality, specific rotation
Unit 16: Organic Chemistry Based on Functional Group-I includes Properties and Preparation of Haloalkanes, haloarenes, alcohols 
Unit 17: Organic Chemistry Based on Funtion Group-II includes Properties and Preparation of Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones, Monocarboxylic acids
Unit 18: Organic Chemistry Based on Funtional Group-III includes Properties and Preparation of Cyanides, Isocyanides, Nitrocompounds, and Amines
Unit 19: Molecules of Life includes Carbohydrates, Structure of Animo-acids, Peptides and Proteins, Classification and uses of vitamins
Unit 20: Polymers includes Introduction, Kinds, Methods, Natural and Synthetic Polymers
Syllabus for Mathematics

Mathematics is divided into three units, each with its own set of few subtopics. The mathematics syllabus is presented below.

Unit 1: Sets includes finite and infinite sets, empty sets, power sets, universal sets; Relations includes it's types, reflexive, symmetric, transitive, Functions includes binary operations, domain, co-domain, range of functions
Unit 2: Complex Number includes Conjugation, Modulus and Amplitude, Argand's Plane and Polar Representation; Linear Inequation includes algebraic solution of linear inequalities; Linear Programming
Unit 3: Sequence & Series includes AP, AM, GP, GM; Permutation & Combination & Binomial Theorem
