A total of 1,03,397 candidates have applied to the Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) seeking admissions in 136 programmes for the academic year 2023-23, an official told the PTI.

Below mentioned are a few steps which can be kept in mind while filling the application form:

• The form is interactive and the fields required to be filled up are categorized in different sub-sections. The fields super-scribed with * MUST be filled up as they are MANDATORY, otherwise, the application will NOT get submitted.
• The application form is broadly categorized into four steps:
• Registration
• Filling of Personal Details
• Document Uploading
• Fee Payment
• An Email ID once used for Registration online cannot be used again.
• Ensure that the Online Application Form is filled properly with all complete details.
• Incomplete/incorrect applications are liable to be rejected at any stage without prior information to the candidate.
• Multiple application forms from the same candidate will result in confusion leading to disqualification of the candidate.

JMI CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must look up before applying for the examination JMI CET Eligibility Criteria 2023 which is  listed below includes all the basic requirements for taking admission in the respective course:

• BSc (Hons.): Applying candidate must have passed his/her 12th level or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in PCM subjects.
• BTech: Candidate must have passed 10+2 level with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized board or university.
• BA (Hons.): Candidate must have passed his/her 12th level or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks.
• BFA: Students must have passed their 10+2 level or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board or university.

• MBA: Candidate must have done Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate secured in it.
• MSc: Candidate must have done BSc with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 55% marks in the subject concerned.
• MCA: Student must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/Natural Science/Social Science with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

For PG courses:

• The candidates can download the hall ticket from the student's portal from Jamia Millia Islamia University 07 days prior to the exam date.
• It is mandatory to carry the admit cards to the exam centre along with a valid photo ID proof which will help in verification of identity by the invigilators.
• If any discrepancy is found in the admit card, get in touch with the officials immediately and get it rectified.
• If candidates are appearing for the examination in a new city then kindly go and visit the examination centre before the day of examination so that they don’t reach late or to the wrong centre.

JMI CET 2023 Answer Key

The answer key will be published to download on the official website within 3 working days after the entrance exam. The authority provides the facility to candidates to challenge within 48 hours after the publication. In case, any candidate have any doubt can object to the answer key, then they have to pay Rs. 500/- as processing fee. Candidates must remember to challenge the answer key before the deadline.

JMI CET 2023 Result

JMI CET 2023 Result will be declared on the official website. All the applicants are requested to check on their results and also check the final prepared merit list as admission would be based on the merit list prepared for the candidates.

If the seats are not occupied by the students following the first merit list, another merit would be prepared and based on that admission would be offered.

Jamia Millia Islamia Central University
