Kerala TET is organized twice a year at a state-level, to assess the quality of teachers as candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary, and High School classes in Kerala.  Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan will start the registration process for Kerala KTET March 2023 on April 3. Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test is an examination to assess the quality of teacher candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School Classes in Kerala.   • Kerala KTET March 2023 Registration begins from April 3 at ktet.kerala.gov.in.
  • The registration process will end on April 17, 2023.
  • The admit card will be displayed on April 25, 2023, and the examination will be conducted on May 12 and May 15, 2023.
  • The examination will be conducted in two shifts- first shift from 10 am to 12.30 pm and second shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

Kerala TET 2023 Admit Card

Kerala TET 2023 Admit Card can download from the official website. Following are the guidelines to download the admit card:

  • Candidates need to log in with their respective credentials at the login portal. 
  • The admit card will have information like Name of Candidate, DOB, Address, Centre, etc.
  • In the case of discrepancy, the candidate can contact the authority.
  • It is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the admit card on the exam day to the exam centre, in the absence of which a candidate will be debarred from writing the exam.
  • Applicants must also carry a valid photo ID proof and two passport size photographs along with the admit card.
  • A photo ID can be any one of the given options- Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Passport, etc.
  • Candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe for future reference.

How to Download KTET 2023 Hall Ticket?

The candidates can follow the below-given steps to download Kerala TET 2023 admit card:

  •  Step 1 - Go to the official website of KTET.
  • Step 2 - Click on the link to download the Admit card.
  • Step 3 -  At the login page, enter the category, application number & ID to login and open the admit card.
  • Step 4 - Download and get a print out of the admit card.

Kerala TET 2023 Answer Key

Kerala TET 2023 Answer Key is available on the official website. The Answer Key can help a candidate predict their marks and can also get an idea regarding their chances of qualifying for the exam. Below guidelines should be followed to download the Kerala TET Answer key:

  • They do not have to enter login credentials for it.

Kerala TET 2023 Result

Kerala TET 2023 Result has been declared by the Education Board of Kerala. Candidates should follow the below-given guidelines to download their Result:

  •  Visit the official website and Login with the correct credentials.
  • The details like Category/Categories, Date of Birth and Registration Number should be filled in by the candidates.
  • The result once announced will not be put to re-evaluation.
  • Upon the basis of the KTET 2023 result for the November session, the qualifying candidates will be awarded the Teacher's Training Certificate (TTC).
  • TTC will help them apply for teaching positions at all Government or Privately aided schools in Kerala State.

Kerala TET 2023 Certificate

The KTET 2023 Certificate will be given to those candidates who will qualify for the Kerala TET 2023 test by the Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram on behalf of Govt. of Kerala. The original educational qualification certificates will be verified for the same by the DEO's concerned. Candidates applying for different categories will receive separate certificates from the Government.

Kerala TET 2023 Application form

Kerala TET 2023 application forms are released online. The process for filling the application form is given below:

  •  Download the information brochure and read the guidelines before filling the application form.
  •  Visit the official website and then click on the link "New Registration for Kerala TET 2023”.
  •  Enter the mandatory details such as name, mobile no., email, etc to start with registration.
  •  Upload the scanned Photograph of jpeg/jpg format as prescribed in instructions.
  •  After the completion of registration, a Registration Number will be generated.
  •  The candidates can use this Registration number to start filling the form.
  •  Fill in the required Personal and Educational details.
  •  Pay the application fees through any payment gateway portal.
  •  Save the confirmation page and take out multiple photo-copies of the Application form for further use.

Kerala TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants willing to apply for Kerala Teacher Ability Test must go through the below-given eligibility criteria set as per the exam conducted body. There are four categories, eligibility for which is different for a different category.

Category 1- Lower Primary Teacher 

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks. And, a two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate TTC / DEd which is conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.

OR

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with having at least 45% marks and NCTE approved 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary(or equivalent) with having at least 50% marks and a 4 -year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

OR

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with having at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education.

OR

Other equivalent qualifications.

Category 2- Upper Primary Teacher

Graduation in B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed) or Trained Teacher's Certificate(TTC) conducted by the Board of Examination, Govt of Kerala or its equivalent.

OR

B.A/B.Com/B.Sc with at least 45% aggregate marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed) per NCTE regulations.

OR

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary(or equivalent) with having an aggregate of 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education(B.El.Ed)

OR

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary(or equivalent) with having an aggregate of 50% marks and a 4-Year B.A/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Other Equivalent qualification.

Category 3- High School Teacher

BA/BSc/B.Com with an aggregate of 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the main subject (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other recognized Universities).

OR

The candidates having  MSc.Ed. Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology with an aggregate of 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply.

OR

BA or equivalent with at least 45% marks and LTTC ( Learning, Teaching, and Technology) are eligible to apply.

OR

Other Equivalent qualification

For Category 4- Language Teacher, Specialist teacher, and Physical Education

Those who acquired qualifications for the posts of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers as mentioned in Chapter 31(XXXI) of Kerala Education Act And Rules are eligible to apply for KTET-4.
