DRDO CEPTAM Result 2022-22: Preparation of Merit List
The provisional selection is done based on the merit obtained in the Tier 1 exam depending on the post/category/sub-category
Candidates qualifying the Tier 1 are called to appear for the Tier 2
SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM, MSP and PWD candidates who are selected based on their own merit without relaxation will be considered against the reserved category
The reserved vacancies will be filled up separately from amongst the eligible SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM, MSP and PWD candidates
Candidates will be shortlisted in Tier 1 exam in the ratio 1:12 (number of vacancies: number of shortlisted candidates)
It is mandatory for candidates to qualify the Tier 2 exam
Normalisation of scores
The scores of Tier 1 exam are normalised through equi-percentile method. The examination authority follows the normalisation procedure wherein the exam is held in multiple shifts or sessions. It is done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers across sessions. DRDO CEPTAM result is declared based on the normalised marks.
DRDO CEPTAM Result 2022-22: Minimum qualifying marks
DRDO has prescribed minimum qualifying marks for the Tier 1 exam. To qualify the exam, candidates are required to secure the qualifying marks as per their category. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier 1 are 40% for UR/OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
DRDO CEPTAM 2022 Selection Process
The selection process will consist of Tier-I (CBT) and Tier-II (Trade Test). The score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement. The Tier-I examination is for provisional selection and Tier-II (Trade test) is qualifying in nature. Candidates will be called for Tier-I examination without any detailed scrutiny, therefore, their admission in examinations are only provisional. Candidates are advised to ensure meeting all eligibility criteria to avoid rejection in the future.
Resolution of Tie cases for Tier-I (CBT): In cases where more than one candidate secure the equal aggregate marks in Tier-I examination, tie cases will be resolved by applying following criteria, one after other, as applicable till the tie is resolved:
Date of birth, older candidate placed higher in the merit list.
Alphabetical order (English Order) in which the names of the candidates appear.
Preliminary Document Verification: The original certificates pertaining to EQR and other relevant documents will be examined at the time of document verification. Preliminary document verification will be held along with Tier-II (Trade Test). Provisionally shortlisted candidates for Tier-II (Trade test) need to produce all the relevant certificates in original at the time of preliminary document verification, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be canceled.
Candidates may be asked at any stage of the recruitment process to produce original documents/certificates for the verification of its authenticity by the forensic expert/issuing authority.
Note: All the candidates must note that for Admin & Allied post’s Tier-II Exam, it also includes Skill/Physical Fitness & Capability Test (whichever is applicable).
