Chitkara University is a private university located in Punjab, India. The university was founded in 2010 by the Punjab State Legislature under "The Chitkara University Act". It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Chitkara university comes under the establishment of the Chitkara Educational Trust based in Chandigarh and in 1998, it is founded by Dr Ashok K Chitkara and Dr Madhu Chitkara.
The university offers various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level in fields like Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and other courses in Health Sciences, Nursing, etc. The university will conduct entrance test followed by personal interview for the selection of candidates for admission in various courses.
Admission to B.E and B.Arch is done based on a valid score in JEE Main and NATA/JEE Main (Paper 2) respectively. Whereas, for B.Desh and MBA programmes, UCEED and CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT score are accepted by the university.

Chitkara University B.E and B.Arch Admission 2020
At undergraduate level, the university offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in 7 specialisations and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) for the duration of four years and five years respectively. Three year Diploma holder is eligible to apply for B.E (Lateral Entry) Admission. Also, the candidates with three years diploma in Architecture are also eligible for admission in B.Arch. The minimum eligibility required for admission is given hereby:

Chitkara University UG Admission 2020
Chitkara University also offers BBA, BCA, BFA, BA, B.Com and B.Des programmes at undergraduate level along with BCA-MCA integrated programme. Students who have completed 10+2 level with any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply of the admission.
