The Agnel Charities (the trustees of the Society of St. Francis Xavier in Pilar) founded Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (CRCE), popularly referred to as Agnel Bandra, in 1984. It is an unaided, minority, non-autonomous CRCE institute named after the founder of the Agnel Charity, who was the mind and soul behind the creation of the Agnel Charities from a tiny carpentry business school to the enormous technological complex it is today.
