Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering was established in the year 1998. It is affiliated with the Technical University of Jawaharlal Nehru, Kakinada (JNTUK). At the undergraduate level, the college offers B.Tech degree courses and M.Tech, MCA, and MBA at the postgraduate level. The college has a total student intake of 1104. Admission to the B.Tech and M.Tech programs is based on the Andhra Pradesh government's State Level Common Entrance Examination. Admission to B.Tech is carried out based on a standard entrance examination at the state level, i.e. Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical General Entrance Test of Andhra Pradesh (AP EAMCET) or Common Entrance Test of Andhra Pradesh Engineering (AP PGECET).

LBRCE B.Tech Admission 2020

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering offers four-year B.Tech courses in various branches. Admissions to B.Tech are carried through under two categories, i.e. A 'Category and' B 'Category. Category A admissions are conducted through AP EAMCET or AP ECET state-level rankings for 70% seats. AP EAMCET is an entry exam for B.E/ B.Tech (Regular) while AP ECET is in the second year for lateral entry admissions. These tests are arranged in an online mode by JNTUK.

For 30% of seats under Management and NRI Quota, 'Category B' admissions are taken. In the JEE Main or Common Entrance Examination, rank obtained is the basic admission criterion. These seats are reserved for NRI students and students living in countries other than Andhra Pradesh and the Union Territories. After the publication of the merit list, the counselling is organized by JNTUK. For Category ‘B’ admissions applicants must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 and should be an NRI or domicile of a state or Union Territory other than Andhra Pradesh.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering offers A two-year M.Tech, MBA, and MCA programs in various branches. Admissions for the M.Tech courses are conducted by Andhra University through AP PGECET. GATE eligible applicants can also apply for direct admissions, while other applicants may obtain admissions based on AP PGECET counselling. 

Admission to both MBA and MCA courses is offered based on the Sri Venkateswara University APICET ranking. Admissions are given by counselling, taking into account the ranks of applicants at the state level during the entrance examination.

LBRCE Application Process 2020

Application forms are available online only while application fees can be submitted online as well as offline modes.

For AP EAMCET and AP ECET: The AP EAMCET and AP ECET application forms are only available in an online mode. For all group applicants, the EAMCET application fee for the engineering stream is INR 450. Candidates have to pay INR 500 for the AP ECET application form. You can pay the application fee using a debit card, a credit card, a net banking service, or via AP online centres.

The application form from the college campus or the official website of the college can be accessed by eligible candidates under 'Category B' from June 13 onwards. The completed form, along with the necessary INR 1000 documents and DD has drawn together for 'Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering,' payable at Mylavaram, must be submitted to the college by 20 June.

For AP PGECET: The cost of the AP PGECET application form is INR 800 for candidates for General Category / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and INR 400 for candidates for SC, ST, and PWD. The payment can be made in online mode or at the AP Online Center in offline mode via the payment gateway, credit card, debit card, or net banking.
