Admission Experience:
Applications are invited in online modes for the courses offered by the college and entrances are conducted in offline mode.Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) Hyderabad offers UG, PG programs in the departments of Engineering, Technology and Management. At the UG level, the college offers B.Tech in 6 specializations. At the PG level, the college offers MBA and M.Tech with an intake of 60 and 150 students, respectively. Applicants who have passed 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board with 45% marks and have cleared TS EAMCET or JEE are considered eligible to apply for B.Tech and candidates who hold a B.Tech/BE degree from a recognized university and with a good score in GATE can apply for M.Tech. Admission to B.Tech is done based on valid score/rank in TS EAMCET or JEE Main 2023. For M.Tech, a candidate must have a B.Tech/ BE degree and have a valid score in TS PGECET to be considered eligible. Admission to MBA is done based on GATE and TSICET score with merit in the qualifying Graduation with 50%. The seats of the college are allocated in Professional Institution for Admission of Candidates and classified as A, B category. The college preserved the seat for SC/ ST/ Backward Class/ Minority candidates. Malla Reddy Engineering College (Autonomous) was established in 2002, is a leading engineering college located in Telangana. Placement Experience:
Placements: I am glad to inform you that our college has improved in many things like placements. Almost 70% of students from our department get placed in companies. About 65% is a mandatory percentage to get paced in a company. The highest salary package offered in our batch is 22 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. Only 4 to 5 companies visit the college from the ECE core side, and the remaining all from software companies. Our college started our placements in the final year, so we are unable to do an internship as of now. Each company will give an internship before joining by paying a stipend. The associate software engineer role is offered more here. Good percentage of students get campus placements. The lowest salary package is 3 LPA and the highest salary package is 20 LPA. Top companies are recruiting students of our college. It provides good internships and stipends to the students.
Conclusion:
Infrastructure: I am from an ECE background, and I have many laboratory subjects. Our college will provide almost all the laboratories which we require. Classrooms are spacious with a high-speed internet facility. Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the college. Projectors are used for explanations in classes. We too have a sports community in our college where all facilities will be available in our college. The canteen is huge, and 150 people can enjoy the services at the canteen. Faculty: Our college has PhD staff, assistant professors, and professors in different fields and departments. Some faculty members teaching ability is good, and some will do less. The course which is taught by the college will not reach industry level. Exams are conducted by our college because our college is autonomous. The difficulty level of exams is average for some papers, and it will be very hard to clear those papers. The pass percentage is 40%.
