Ramanujan College Offers various courses in different disciplines such as Arts, science, commerce, management and Vocational such as B.Com, B.Com (Hons), B.Sc, B.Voc, BA etc. The candidates who have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board with relevant discipline and minimum 45% aggregate can apply for the courses. The final admissions to all the courses will be on the basis of merit and cut off released by University of Delhi. Admissions to BMS course is on the basis of Entrance Test conducted by the College. Ramanujan College provides several awards and scholarships to the students to help them out with their financials. These scholarships are performance-based and are given out to students who achieve the highest marks in their batches. Some of the scholarships offered by this college are S.K. Chopra Memorial Scholarship, Ramanujan Ratan Award and Ramanujan Scholarship. The Kamla Kishori Memorial Scholarship is earned by a female student who achieves the highest marks in the first and second year of all the courses. This college has also set-up a Student's Aid Fund with the support of the UGC, which aims to provide financial assistance to students with weak financial background. Students are allowed to use this fund to buy books, clothes, medicines and pay tuition and examination fee.
This college has an active placement cell, which provides several lucrative employment opportunities to the students. The placement cell invites over 40 reputable companies for recruitment purposes. These companies have recruited over 130 students and have provided 250 internship opportunities. Formerly established as Deshbandhu College (Evening) for Boys, Ramanujan College is government college maintained by the Delhi University. In the year 1994, this college became a co-educational college. In 2010, it was renamed to its current name, and in 2012, it transformed into a full-time day college. Accredited with Grade 'A' by NAAC, this college holds 26th rank in the nation as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework. Presently, it offers 15 courses in different fields, including science, humanities and commerce. In the year 2018, this college received the prestigious award of the National Resource Centre by the Government of India. The College offers various certificate courses for the overall developement of the students. Meritorious and talented students are also provided with the scholarships as well.
