What is AGRICET Exam 2023 ?

Answer: The AGRICET Exam 2023 is an entrance exam conducted by the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) for admission into Diploma in Agriculture Course. It is a national level test which will be conducted once a year to identify eligible candidates for admissions in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Horticulture.

AGRICET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check their eligibility before filling the application form. Given below is the AGRICET 2023 Eligibility:

• The candidate must possess the citizenship of India.

• Those applicants who apply for the exam must complete the age of 17 years as of 31 December 2021 and the upper age is of 22 years. If candidates belongs to SC/ST  upper age limit is increased to 25 years and 27 years of age for Physically Handicapped. 

• Candidates who are in the process of the final exam of the diploma are also eligible to apply.

• 85% of seats are reserved for Andhra Pradesh candidates.
• 15 % of seats are reserved for other candidates.

• Candidates must a degree of two years diploma in agriculture/seed technology/organic farming from ANGRAU/PJTSAU. 
• Those who are going to complete the Diploma Requirements in the 2019-20 Academic Year can also apply by submitting a Completion Certificate from the concerned Head of the Institute.

About Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University

Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) was established under the name of Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) on the 12th of June 1964 through the APAU Act of 1963. Later, it was renamed Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University on the 7th of November, 1996 in honor and memory of the noted Parliamentarian and Kisan Leader, Acharya N. G. Ranga.
