AIEED 2023 Syllabus must be followed by every candidate while preparing for the examination. The Arch college of Design and Business provides the syllabus for AIEED exam. It comprises of Two tests - the general ability test and Creative ability test. AIEED tests the candidate’s problem-solving aptitude and logical reasoning. The exam also tests the design sensitivity, aesthetic sense, and creativity of the candidates who wish to pursue their careers in multiple fields of design. AIEED 2023 Syllabus

AIEED refers to All India Entrance Examination for Design which comprises 4 stages:

  • Stage 1 - GAT – General Ability Test.
  • Stage 2 - CAT – Creative Aptitude Test.
  • Stage 3 -Video and Portfolio Submission &
  • Stage 4 -Personal Interaction.
The applicants need to prepare several topics for the AIEED exam 2023. No specified syllabus is released for AIEED 2023 but based on the previous year's question paper, a basic idea about the syllabus has been compiled here. AIEED 2023 assess the candidate on several parameters ranging from basic to more complex situation of daily life.  In the AIEED 2023 Syllabus, the candidates need to focus on the following topics:

AIEED 2023 Marking Scheme

AIEED 2023 consists of different stages and each stage evaluates the candidate on different parameters. The marking scheme varies according to the exam stage and each stage weighs equally. Candidates must acquire qualifying marks in all the stages to get selected for admission. The below table gives important insights into the marking scheme for AIEEE 2023:

  • Candidates should note that there is no negative marking in AIEED 2023.
AIEED 2023 Important information

The following points encompass important information for AIEED 2023:

  • The question paper will be bilingual, i.e. it will be in Hindi as well as in English.
  • Students appearing for the online exam can answer their paper in English/Hindi according to their preference.
  • All the stages of AIEED 2023 will be conducted online.
  • There is no negative marking for exam. A student answering a question incorrectly will only lose the marks allotted to that question. No additional marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.
  • The marks from one question to another may vary depending upon the number of questions asked in the exam. 
  • AIEED 2023 Admit card will be available for candidates before a week of the examination.
  • The hall ticket will be available only for those candidates who have successfully registered for AIEED 2023.
  • Candidates appearing for AIEED 2023 must have all the necessary items with them while attempting the exam such as a pencil, pen, water bottle, sketchbook for the CAT part, etc.
