AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2022 Exam Pattern contains the exam scheme, marking scheme, types and number of questions asked in the entrance exam. The authority of AIIMS, New Delhi conducts the AIIMS Nursing entrance exam every year. Through this entrance test, the qualifying candidates will have to take admission in the B.SC (Hons), B.Sc. AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2022 Exam Pattern

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing:
Duration of Exam: The exam is held for 02 hours.
Total Marks: AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing exam is 100 marks.
Type of Questions: There are MCQ type questions.
Mode of Exam: It is held in computer-based mode.

ForB.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic): It is held in 2 stages i.e written test and Personal Assessment / Interview.
Stage 1 i.e Written Test
Medium of Language: The exam is held in English.
Duration of Course: The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
Number of Questions: AIIMS B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) is 70 questions.
Total Marks: It is 70 marks.
The maximum marks of Personal Assessment / Interview is 30. Hence, the maximum marks obtained in Stage 1 and Stage 2 both are 100.
Stage 2 I.E Personal Interview:
Candidates are called three times the number of seats available for Stage 2, on the basis of merit in Stage 1.
If a requisite number of ST / SC are not available, then candidates belonging to SC and ST are taken together.
In case candidates from SCs, STs & OBCs are not available, then applicants from the General category are called.
The following factors are considered in the interview:
Past academic attainment in the Higher Secondary or +2 or equivalent examination
Past academic attainment in the Nursing examination
Performance as a Staff Nurse
Note: The B.Sc Nursing ( Post Basic) is conducted in 2 stages. The candidate has to pass the written test i.e Stage 1 to be eligible for Stage 2 which is personal assessment and interview. The applicant has to pass both Stage 1 and Stage 2 to be eligible for admission.
Bachelor of Optometry / B.Sc. (Hons.) Medical Technology in Radiography / and other B.Sc courses
Duration of Course: It is held for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Type of Questions: There are MCQ type questions.
The paper shall have 4 parts – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2022 Marking Scheme
The marking scheme of AIIMS Nursing 2022 will be discussed below:
For all the courses of nursing, there will be negative marking for wrong responses made in the entrance test.
For every correct response, +1 mark will be awarded.
For every incorrect answer, -1/3 mark will be deducted.
No mark will be given for unattempted questions.
Negative marking will be done in case of marking more than one response.
Section-wise Weightage of Courses

B.SC (Hons) Nursing
The questions paper will be of a total of 100 marks with 30 marks in Physics, Biology and Chemistry and 10 marks in G.K section.
B.SC (Post basic) Nursing
The written entrance test of B.Sc post-basic nursing will be 70 marks.
Also, there will be a personal assessment/interview in which marks will be allotted out of 30 marks.
M.SC Nursing
The entrance exam of M.Sc Nursing will be of a total of 90 marks with 90 multiple-choice questions.
