Assam ITI 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should carefully read the admission announcement, paying special attention to the qualifying requirements. Applicants will be denied if they are proven to be ineligible at any time throughout the admissions process. Take a look at the criteria stated below to apply for admission to various ITI programmes.
• The candidate must be at least 14 years old to apply for admission to ITI programmes in Assam.
• To be considered for admission, an applicant must have completed the eighth or tenth grade (depending on the course requirements).
• An applicant must have finished class 8th or 10th with Maths and English to be accepted to the Engineering trade (depending on the program). For admission to a non-engineering programme, there are no such topic requirements.

Qualifications Required for different courses:

1. Fashion Design & Technology, Desk Top Publishing (DTP) Operator, Multi-Media Animation and Special Effects, Photographer, Digital Photographer, Dress Making, Sewing Technology, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Fashion Design & Technology, Desk Top Publishing (DTP) Operator, Multi-Media Animation and Special Effects: 

• Required Qualification: Passed 10th grade under the 10+ 2 education system.
• 1-year course duration

2. Front Office Assistant, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, English Secretarial Practice, Basic Cosmetology, Plumber, Welder, Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Embroidery),

• Required Qualification: 10th class passed.
• Course Duration: 1 Year

3. Mechanic Diesel Engine, Pump Operator/Mechanic, Plastic Processing Operator, Surveyor, Tractor Mechanic, Soil Testing, and Crop Technician are some of the jobs available.

• Required Qualification: 10th class passed under 10+ 2 system of education with Science & Mathematics or its equivalent.
• Course Duration: 1 Year

4. Plastic processing, fabrication (fitting and welding), construction and woodworking, and information technology are all COE sectors (BBBT modules).

• Required Qualification: 10th class passed.
• Course Duration: 1 Year

5. Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance, Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Draughtsman Civil, Draughtsman Mechanical, Mechanic Agricultural Machinery, Draughtsman Civil, Draughtsman Mechanical, Mechanic Agricultural Machinery, Maintenance Chemical Plant Mechanics, Auto Body Painting Mechanics, and Auto Body Repair Mechanics

• Required Qualification: 10th class passed under 10+ 2 system of education with Science & Mathematics or its equivalent.
• Course Duration: 2 Years

6. Wireman

• Required Qualification: 8th class passed.
• Course Duration: 2 Years

7. BLTT (Bodo Language Transcription Trade)

• Required Qualification: 10th class passed.
• Course Duration: 6 Months

Assam ITI 2023 Seat Reservations

• Seats are deliberately aside for members of the poor community in every ITI.
• Seats are reserved for students who are classified as SC, ST, or OBC based on their percentage of the state or territory's population.
• A fifth of the seats are guaranteed to applicants.
• People with physical disabilities are entitled to a 3% discount.
• A 10% reservation for dependents of Armed Forces members is available to children/widows of deceased/disabled ex-servicemen, children of ex-servicemen, children of those currently on active duty, and ex-servicemen.

Assam ITI 2023 Documents Required

All essential documentation for the verification process, as well as the application form for admission, must be brought with the applicant. During counselling, the candidate will be required to bring two sets of photocopied documents as well as the original documents.
